I'm having a cuppa before anyone wakes up. We're going to see Downton. We always pick the earliest show become it's mostly empty.

We're moving house on Tuesday so I need to get out of the chaos for a while! We'll come home and pack some more then go for a walk before dinner.

We're having ribeye steaks with home made bearnaise sauce for dinner.

Hopefully it will be relaxing, last week was mental with 4 late nights working.

Had all the DC in bed with us this morning after they woke which was nice (until the inevitable squabbling started!). I've brought them downstairs to watch a Lego movie whilst I have a massive cup of tea, so dh can have a lie in as he's ill. Trampoline booked for later this morning and then I'll make a roast chicken. Probably another movie with the kids this afternoon as the weather is absolutely dreadful. Ironing and general getting ready for the week this evening

Arrowfanatic · 29/09/2019 07:51

Been up since 5.30am zzzzzzzzzz

I've tidied the kitchen and made breakfast for 2 out of 3 kids (eldest is at a sleepover).

9am I'll head out to karate, will be done there around midday. I'll go collect DD and pick my Nan up as she's coming to lunch. DH will cook the chicken for the roast whilst I'm out.

Then we'll chill this afternoon before its time to put the weekends laundry away, bathe the kids & probably all head for an early night.

beepbeep321 · 29/09/2019 07:52

Nanny beebies is on duty at the mo for ds2
Then will be getting wash8ng done, general prep for week ahead, pick ds1 up from sleepover and probs a film this afternoon as I suspect ds will be tired and grumpy!
Steak pie from the freezer for tea and I'll be throwing together a quorn and mushroom filo pastry pie concoction for me as a veggie alternative.

Iwantacookie · 29/09/2019 07:55

Currently waiting on if football for ds2 has been cancelled or not due to it pissing it down. So far it's still on so I'm having a bit of a strop a cup of tea and generally procrastinating about getting dressed.

rslsys · 29/09/2019 07:55

40th Wedding Anniversary today. Both sat up in bed, enjoying a pot of coffee.
Up in a bit, bacon sandwich breakfast. Potter about before being picked up at lunchtime for a 'surprise' party!

tunnocksreturns2019 · 29/09/2019 07:55

Apparently today we’re making a cake in the shape of a house and labelling it to illustrate its hurricane-proof features 🙄🤣

MaryBerriesNiece · 29/09/2019 07:56

I got up early and did the floors etc. I’m now having cheese on toast planning where to plant spring bulbs. Not much going on here today but we’ll have a roast of sorts later.

LittleMachine · 29/09/2019 07:59

I got up at 7 with the kids, they’re on their iPads. DH was out from 11am until midnight so he’s still in bed. I’m going to metafit, Pilates and for a swim/sauna/jacuzzi at 9, so he’ll have to get up soon.
When I come home I’m going to do some work (teacher) and make a roast dinner. The DS’s just want to relax at home.

wendz86 · 29/09/2019 07:59

In bed at the moment . Kids at their dads but of course I’m still awake at 7.30. Going to take a wander to the shops when they open .

Liskee · 29/09/2019 08:08

Currently trying to maintain composure and look like I'm not hungover in front of DH and DSs. Swimming lessons at 9.30, then off out to local event this afternoon with steak for dinner and the usual preparations for a new week and Strictly later. Need to fit in a work out along the way and hoover, all whilst pretending I'M FINE!

unicorncupcake · 29/09/2019 08:18

DH has gone to work, DC’s and I up early as usual 🙄. Have already done dishwasher, put all yesterday’s washing away, sorted uniforms and clothes for the week ahead and put another load of washing on and it’s only 8.15. I remember what lazy weekend days used to look like...🤦‍♀️ ILs are kindly collecting DCs at 10.15 as I’m rehearsing all day for a production I’m running (Musical theatre stuff) then will cook an easy roast dinner when I get home. Am looking forward to treacle tart and custard! Early night tonight and then back to school tomorrow...

cliffdiver · 29/09/2019 08:25

On sofa with DDs eating a breakfast of crumpets and watching Mr Bean.

Later this morning DH will take bags of garden waste to the tip and I'll do homework with DDs.

Later we're going clothes shopping and then home for roast beef dinner.

beepbeeprichie · 29/09/2019 08:25

I’ve been footering around for 90 minutes. I said today I would do a decent run on the treadmill so I shall get up and get on with it. Will watch something on Netflix while I run.

robynadair · 29/09/2019 08:32

Up at 5.30 as we were meant to be going away in our caravan but we've got 45 mph winds so not safe to tow. Will go tomorrow instead so currently in our local diner with the dogs having a full English - they get a doggy version! Then home, will do some sewing and probably snuggle down in front of the TV for a bit of a snooze this afternoon. No food in the house so popping into the supermarket from some steak, baked potatoes and veggies for supper, then an early night as will be up early again tomorrow

NorthernPowermouse · 29/09/2019 08:33

I’m enjoying some rare peace and quiet. DS has gone with DP to see the cyclists, DD is STILL ASLEEP! DP has to work when he gets back so not sure what I’ll do with the kids. Stir fry for tea later.

catenthusiast · 29/09/2019 08:39

Still in bed with one of the cats - DH was up bright and early to go paintballing for a friend's birthday but still made me a coffee and put it in a travel cup by the bed so it stayed warm which was lovely. Getting up soon to get ready to go out for brunch with some friends and then a nice lazy day before going to see parents tonight for a curry Grin

AMAM8916 · 29/09/2019 08:40

We've all been up since 7 (me, DH and DS) and had breakfast and watching cartoons. I've checked the weather and it's going to rain until early afternoon then be dry apparently.

My friend has asked if me and DS want to go over so her DS and my DS can play but I'll see what plans are as we were over there yesterday as well.

All there seems to be to do around here when it's raining is go to soft play! DS is too young to sit through a film at the cinema. I really need to hoover upstairs as it's bugging me! Making chicken tikka with rice and naan bread for dinner tonight

Veronicat · 29/09/2019 08:42

Waiting for my Asda order to arrive and then taking the dogs to the beach and back to tackle the washing mountain.

happypotamus · 29/09/2019 08:43

Everyone is still in bed, including cats I think.
DH is running a stall at an event today. I should take DC to church if I have the strength to make them get ready and walk there in the pouring rain. I also need to get DC1 to do homework, tidy up so there is a bit of space of the kitchen worksurface, iron school uniforms, work out whether I can face work tomorrow or whether I ring in sick and leave them in the shit with far too few staff and no one else to run the shift, try not to cry about this decision. DC want to go to a fundraising event their friend is doing, so I need to work out if it is feasible to get there on the bus in the rain. Cook dinner (lentil shepherds pie), wash DC's hair, put them to bed, make packed lunches.

I'm in the Middle East, so Sunday is a normal working day (our weekend is Friday and Saturday)

3yr old DS is at school
1yr old DS is at home with our nanny (he's probably napping, she's probably in bed next to him watching Neflix on her phone!)
I'm in the office
DH is on a plane (work trip)

MrsSergeantSmith · 29/09/2019 08:45

I've just finished a night shift so attempted sleep when I eventually get home, late bus.
I'll no doubt be disturbed by every person I know because I'm the most popular person in the world when I've been on nights.

CherryPavlova · 29/09/2019 08:49

Church in a little while, beach walk with the dog then my husband is off to conference for three days (his work rather than political alliance). I shall do a batch cook this afternoon for freezer and neighbours. Then walk the dog with a friend and her dog before checking work clothes and papers for the week ahead.

PrincessHoneysuckle · 29/09/2019 08:54

We're having fried egg sandwiches before we get ready to go and visit my younger brother in Manchester.Yesterday was spent childfree window shopping and lunching. This has been a great weekend do far!

maddiemookins16mum · 29/09/2019 09:07

I’m having tea and toast. DD is getting ready for church youth group at 11am. DP is about to do the weekly ironing in front of the rugby. I need to do some housework and get straight for the week ahead. Book travel insurance and do online shop for mid week. I did the base of a cottage pie in the slow cooker yesterday so I need to do the mash plus a pile of veg for lunch about 3pm. I also found half a large crusty tiger loaf in the freezer so once that’s defrosted I’ll prep a bread pudding for pudding tonight. This afternoon I expect to be slobbing on the sofa with tea and several episodes of Celebrity Masterchief.
