Weirdest Things you have won in raffles/tombolas

Just been to a tombola today I won 6 bags of sweets and a frisby.

Dd spent a fiver hopefully on a drinks stall at school fair and won a bottle of j2o! She was gutted?

A paper plate of raw meat as a mixed grill.......on a Sunday evening at a WMC........after being unrefrigerated for God knows how long it didn’t get cooked.......

A dozen pan scrubbers - didn't have to buy any for ages so they did turn out quite useful

DS got a toast rack in a lucky dip.. SO lucky!

When my dd was 6 she won a tin of potatoes. She was fuming I found it hysterically funny.

Not me but my mum's friend won a manual washing machine at my primary school summer fete. I think it had a handle that you cranked to make it work. This was in the mid eighties not the eighteenth century.

Tin of raspberries and a tin of hot dogs, DS was gutted he wanted the box of after eights 😂

I won a bottle of whisky when I was about 12. My lovely dad bought it from me

A gift set of expired Lush body lotion. It was about a year out of date and smelt very distinctly off!

In a raffle I won the last prize - a preloved cookery book. Not even a novelty - just something out of someones kitchen drawer.

But in a community fair we had a go at pick a bag for 50p (contents unseen) and won a bottle of wine .

A tin of out of date tuna, and an egg mayo sandwich once. No idea who comes up with these ‘prizes’.

When I was about 5 I got one single piece of Lego in a lucky dip. It was a little thin one - 1x3 dots. I was soooo disappointed and have never forgotten. My big brother got a tube of Fruit Pastilles. I’m still jealous now.

I won a parking space right outside the front door of my office for a week - I work from home and only go into the office once every 3 months

I won a plastic toy phone in a raffle at a charity event l was fuming.

My DD won a big pack of meat from the local butchers when she was around 14. She was also vegetarian at the time! We all enjoyed the meat while she sulked!

Two cartons of tomato juice, I was about 8. I can see the logic, one would have been a bit rubbish
