How much chocolate do you eat in one sitting?

Just curious really. I’ve no problem finishing off a 100g bar. And no real issue with a 200g bar if I’m honest! Just wondering how gluttonous I am! (Obviously I am Blush)

I don’t like just chocolate in a bar so probably one square but chocolate/s with fillings are delicious - I try and limit to 2/3 at a time but if it was a big box I could probably do 7 or 8 before getting fed up of them. I could eat a whole Star Bar or Daim too.

itchyfinger · 25/09/2019 22:10

Most of the time I'm a "4 squares of green and blacks" kinda gal, until it's PMT time and then i will inhale a share bag of buttons and whatever else is going, no probs

SinglePringle · 25/09/2019 22:13

This is probably not the thread for me...

A bar of Lindt or similar would last me a month. A square a week maybe?

SinglePringle · 25/09/2019 22:15

Posted too soon... I could probably eat more but I get fat really easily and I honestly prefer to be slim. I lost 4 stone and have kept it off for 10 years. It’s just not worth it for me.

Rockbird · 25/09/2019 22:24

I'm currently eating one of the little bars of Marvellous Creations, and I'm only eating it for the jelly beans. That's enough to make me feel a bit sick tbh but I can inhale a family bag of kettle crisps without them touching the sides.

MorrisZapp · 25/09/2019 22:25

I'm a one Curly Wurly girl these days but I've seen some action in my time. Not chocolate, but one year my SIL gave me a massive box of Randoms at Christmas, seriously it was huuuuge. I ate a few, then a few more. Then I finished the whole fecking shoebox. Took the empty box home because I was too embarrassed to put it in her bin.

JuneSpoon · 25/09/2019 22:49

I once had most of a box of milk tray (double layer) after an Indian takeaway. I had to sit still all night Envy

I recently bought a nine pack of single finger twixes. I ate 4 in the car on the way home. Then two more later. And I had the final three after breakfast the following day because they were looking at me and calling to me. So I can never buy them again

CilantroChili · 26/09/2019 00:31

Not a chocoholic here either. I’d eat maybe 3 bars of Turkish delight per annum

Would cheerfully eat my body weight in cheese tho

managedmis · 26/09/2019 01:17

I could easily eat 200 g dairy milk, or fruit n nut.

Could eat four twixes easily. Not snickers tho

managedmis · 26/09/2019 01:18

Ie. Double twixes, so 8 fingers in total

HalfManHalfLabrador · 26/09/2019 01:40

Easily a 200g bar or several multipacks of normal bars

MissLadyM · 26/09/2019 02:12

Does anyone know where to get good coffee chocolate? I'm sure Lindt used to do espresso chocolate. I'm intrigued by the guy on Dragons Den, the flavours look amazing and low sugar!

DefinatelyAWeeGobshite · 26/09/2019 02:31

Whatever size the dairy milk wholenut is, gone...easily.

I’m not even a big chocolate fan, gimme a multipack of crisps or a family “share” bag though and they’re gone in an instant

DefinatelyAWeeGobshite · 26/09/2019 02:36

Oh and the tunnocks tea cakes, 12 pack, gone in a day. I just can’t buy them now.

bakedbeanzontoast · 26/09/2019 07:45

I'm Like this with corn flakes / shredded wheat. I could easily Go though an entire box at once. Which is why there are no boxes in the house.

doublebarrellednurse · 26/09/2019 07:55

A bar of Lindt or similar would last me a month. A square a week maybe?*

Is that cause Lindt chocolate is rank though? Grin

BuzzShitbagBobbly · 26/09/2019 08:18

Al this fancy "good dark chocolate" is totally different to cheap and cheerful stuff though.

As are people who don't have a sweet tooth - that's like asking people who love strawberries to eat the equivalent in lemon slices.

I still don't trust those people who make a point of joylessly saying how much self control they have and only eat 2 bites

MoodyBitch · 26/09/2019 13:03

I have 8 boxes of chocolates, 17 Ritter sports, flavours various of, and 9 Milka bars, also various flavours of, hidden away in my wardrobe.
And I'm sharing them with no one.😜

Heatherjayne1972 · 26/09/2019 14:19

I don’t keep chocolate in the house

How much would I eat??
All of it ..

Blobby10 · 26/09/2019 15:13

I've been chocolate free for 6 days now - I knew I was out of control when I ate two share bags of buttons (one cadbury one milky bar) in one hour last week! I once ate the whole bottom layer of a box of Thorntons in the morning then the rest of the box that afternoon.

The stupid thing is that I don't even enjoy eating the stuff anymore! It tastes rank but I think that after I've eaten a certain amount, my taste buds become desensitised to the taste and its just sugar I crave.

Hopefully I can carry on resisting buying the stuff as its having a very negative effect on the state of my teeth Sad

francienolan · 26/09/2019 18:38

Have not yet found the limit.

I count calories though so usually one bar of dairy milk (or similar size) is what I have, and we don't keep it in stock. At Christmas when we get the selection boxes I'll have 2-4 pieces per day, some of them are pretty rich.

NameChange84 · 26/09/2019 18:44

Hand on heart ...

Once a week I have one of the standard small sized bars available at most corner shops, IF I fancy one. So a normal sized crunchie or galaxy caramel.

Mid week I might have a fun sized bar out of a multipack, so a mini snickers or packet of mini chocolate buttons. OR two or even just one square of Green and Blacks before bed.

I couldn't eat one of those large bars. I just need a taste in all honesty. I enjoy chocolate but I'm not a chocolate addict.

doublebarrellednurse · 26/09/2019 22:05

You people made me buy a 200g bar of galaxy today.

Shame on you all

BlackeyedGruesome · 26/09/2019 22:15

All of it.

I try not to buy large blocks or packs.

Lozz22 · 26/09/2019 22:17

Used to be a big bar at a time but Pregnancy has totally turned me against the stuff now. That was how I knew I was expecting!!
