What is it? Blinged up tealights and a teapot stand?

00100001 · 25/09/2019 10:20

the type of tat you see on FB selling pages, alongside glitter glasses and pom poms

tonimialewisx · 25/09/2019 10:20

Just a candle plate and bling up tea lights yes

..and "witty" signs about prosecco and casual alcoholism
"eg one prosecco, two prosecco, three prosecoo... floor!"

readingismycardio · 25/09/2019 10:24

Poor Chanel would turn in her grave if she saw it!

ThinkerThunkk · 25/09/2019 10:24

Hideous, fake, knock offs which compromise trademark and logo legislation. The glue on the tealights will affect any flame retardent legislation.

clarinstunic · 25/09/2019 10:24

My SIl would love them. Her entire house is glittery silver!

Seeline · 25/09/2019 10:26

No

tonimialewisx · 25/09/2019 10:26

@clarinstunic I have them all over too even under my kettle and kitchen canisters 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ can't help but love abit of bling x

Bluntness100 · 25/09/2019 10:30

I quite like a bit of bling, but I don't like fake logos. Kind of ruins it for me. So it would be a no from me.

cornplant · 25/09/2019 10:31

Mumsnet is going to the dogs

Pikachoob · 25/09/2019 10:31

Absolute tat. Is this a joke? Confused

winterwardrobe · 25/09/2019 10:32
Confused
tonimialewisx · 25/09/2019 10:33

Is what a joke? I asked if people liked them don't think there's any joke in that question is there love

This is more run off from the Netmums debacle, isn't it? Hmm

PrincessHoneysuckle · 25/09/2019 10:35

I like bling but hate knock off designer stuff, its not really chanel so why have it?

tonimialewisx · 25/09/2019 10:37

@PrincessHoneysuckle yes I understand it's not for everybody I just think they looked nice wanted other peoples opinions

mummabubs · 25/09/2019 10:38

I'm with ThinkerThunk on this one. Not attractive, blatantly not Chanel branded and agree with fire risk. If glitter is something people like then that's fair enough, but why the need for a fake branding? (No offence!)

inwood · 25/09/2019 10:40

Awful. Have you found them on a fb tat site?

tonimialewisx · 25/09/2019 10:40

eBay they are x

OP posts:
tonimialewisx · 25/09/2019 10:41

I'm not going to light the candles they are for show purposes only

OP posts:
SummerHouse · 25/09/2019 10:42

Fancy!

I would expect to see those in a very high end hotel or restaurant.

ThinkerThunkk · 25/09/2019 10:42

Pointless dust gatherers.

SummerHouse · 25/09/2019 10:45

Not lighting them? I think you are denying the cacoon a chance to become a butterfly OP. At least some LED lights surely. Or perhaps a five minute, closely monitored lighting show?

SistersOfMerci · 25/09/2019 10:45

They wouldn't even make it past my front door, I'm not a lover of bling bling tat, sorry.
