What weird and interesting things do you watch on YouTube.

I love TedEd, Booktube and documentaries but what else do you watch? I'm looking for something different.

At the moment I have an odd obsession with watching commercials from other countries like Nigeria and India,

Also I am fascinated by watching them make various candies on the Lofty Pursuits channel.

Journey to the Microcosmos is pretty cool.

I love watching stuff about missing people, mysteries, disappearances, etc. Spoke of my favorites are Rusty West, MysteriousWV, Dark Curiosities, LordanArts, Mr. Davis, to name a few. Loads of other great channels I can share of you're interested.

Currently obsessed with people doing scratch cards, it is oddly relaxing.

I watch ghost/haunting-type videos on You Tube (I know they're not real), then promptly shit myself and can't sleep.

I love watching planes taking off/landing at airports around the world. There are some fab videos people take from the aircraft.

And my dogs like to listen to pheasant calls....................

My grandson loves Blippi - he's got 100s of hundreds online and he adores them, especially the tractor ones and construction equipment!

Criminally Listed is really good. The guy who does the channel has a funny way of speaking, but once you get used to it he's nice to listen to. Really good cases are profiled.

I'll have to check out Tinyhouses. I didn't know that scratch cards were a thing on YouTube. I might have to check that out when I'm stressed.

Another thing I love is the Expert guesses cheap vs expensive(tea, beer, ice cream, meat etc) on Epicurious.

And it's not really weird but I'm addicted to Forensic Files and there's so many episodes on YouTube. I particularly like the episodes that are about food poisoning and disease outbreaks but it's so satisfying to see the murderers caught too.

Unintentional ASMR. American student nurses video their practical assessments and talk through the physical check ups as they do them. Strangely relaxing.

This is Dan Bell is VERY interesting. He goes into abandoned houses, malls, hotels, etc. It's fascinating, creepy and a little sad all at the same time.

ASMR videos - particularly these days the 'Unintentional ASMR' videos, which are mostly medical examinations (nothing intimate!) or measuring someone for a suit, stuff like that.

But there are also role play videos like someone pretending to give you a haircut or spa treatment, or someone doing a fake 'allergy testing' or something on another person.

I often sit there watching them thinking 'what the actual fuck is wrong with me'?! It's a huge online community though it seems.

Oddest thing I watch is an artist called Rinska doing acrylic pouring pictures. It's fascinating and calming.
