I love TedEd, Booktube and documentaries but what else do you watch? I'm looking for something different.

At the moment I have an odd obsession with watching commercials from other countries like Nigeria and India,

Also I am fascinated by watching them make various candies on the Lofty Pursuits channel.

What do you watch?

Oh if you like spooky and weird stuff Slapped Ham is a good channel.

Aquamarine1029 · 01/08/2019 22:42

@pinkyredrose

Slapped Ham is a good one. Sometimes the host's voice irritates me a bit, though.

I'm really enjoying Americans that go dumpster diving Hmm The things that they find are unbelievable!

lucysmam · 01/08/2019 22:46

Ooh, I always wonder what to do when I'm bored, I shall have to look some of these up tomorrow (the summer hols are a bit boring when your kids are old enough to sort their own breakfast etc but not quite old enough to be left for a whole day yet).

Tiny food can be both real or fimo. People make v v v tiny dolls house size food but there are also cooking videos on there where people cook a dish on miniature hobs/burners using mini utensils but real ingredients. So they may make doughnuts or pasta.

Footage from UK towns and cities from 100 odd years ago. People fascinated by the cameraman. Not a mobile phone in sight. I love watching them Smile

Last night when I couldn't sleep, I ended up watching "How Amish Women do their Hair" and " How Amish People Dress". Quite fascinating and an insight into the Amish culture .

Champagne791 · 01/08/2019 23:17

Bondi Rescue - lifeguards at bondi beach. Wink

ItsAHardKn0ckLife1 · 01/08/2019 23:19

I have somehow ended up addicted to watching people open “mystery boxes” they have ordered from the deep web!

AquaPris · 01/08/2019 23:23

ASMR - knocks me out. Mukbangs. Toy reviews

Venger · 01/08/2019 23:26

Theres a channel called Oddly Satisfying which does exactly what it says on the tin.

King of Random, not for the experiments (although they are really cool) but because I massively ship Nate and Callie. The creator of the channel, Grant Thompson, very sadly died this week Sad

Five minute crafts. So cringe, so crap, so addictive.

I'm going to check out tiny houses now.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 01/08/2019 23:28

Puppies.

Also Orchids reporting and care. But mostly puppies.

SamanthaJayne4 · 01/08/2019 23:50

Cats and kittens. Tiny homes. People living in van conversions. Loom knitting. Old photos.

ErrmWTAF · 01/08/2019 23:55

Sporn. Dr Pimple Popper, particularly.

The slightly eerie videos of Kiwami Japan carefully crafting knives out cardboard, bread, bismuth, styrofoam and other substances you shouldn't be able to make knives out of.

Here's one for 'the sharpest knife made of Jello'

I do wonder if he's quite alright, but you can't argue with the craftsmanship.

Catmint · 02/08/2019 07:52

Acrylic pouring, resin pouring and lathe turning, suminagashi.

5 minute crafts. ( dreadful but addictive)

EveryNameYouTake · 02/08/2019 08:32

Glass blowing. I can watch it for hours.
Like me some acrylic pouring too.
