Neighbour on Tinder WWYD

Hello!
I moved house a couple of years ago, and met my neighbour shortly after. Thought he was gorgeous but i was in a relationship, so have never taken any conversation past small talk.
He is aware I had a boyfriend, although I lived alone.
However I've now split from my boyfriend and recently gone on Tinder, where I have seen my neighbours profile. I closed the app without swiping so I guess he's still hanging around on there?
He's same age as me and I find him attractive, however he lives in my building...has potential to be awkward AF.
Should I swipe left or right?! He may have already seen me and discarded me anyway 😂
What would you do?

Maybe he thought bf was a jerk and that’s what he mean by only waiting 18months.

What have you got to lose by asking him out? If he says no or it goes tits up then you'll be awkward passing him in the hall way but that's about it.

He's playing with you op!

I couldn't do it. The humiliation if he didn't fancy you. Being neighbours, it's just too close for comfort.
Can't you just get chatting to him in real life, and take it from there?

Noooo, you have the chance of a real life connection here. Take it!
Get chatting to him and see where it leads.
