Not pregnant.. So what's in my tummy?

I have put weight on lately, but some days I look like I am about to give birth.

Any ideas what is going on?

First pic is me today, second pic is me about 3 weeks ago. I know it's a different angle but should help compare.

Are some women just shaped like this and it's just that I have put weight on?

I go that shape with bloating.

If I cut out all white carbs and "heavy" foods, it totally goes.

I never cut these out though because I have no will power 😂😂😂😂

WhereForArtThouBray · 25/06/2019 21:18

I will phone the doctor and do a test while I wait for an appointment.

How likely is it to be a food intolerance? I did have pasta for tea but don't usually swell up like that or I wouldn't eat it.

I could just have piles on the pounds, feeling content in a new 6 month relationship maybe?

I dint want to exist on pickled onions and eggs just to not look like an egg.

My friend had twins with the coil......

You need to do a preg test and absolutely see your GP

CatalogueUniverse · 25/06/2019 21:23

If you take the pill it isn’t periods it’s a withdrawal bleed.

Take a pregnancy test oh knackered woman with sudden tummy who is in a 6 month relationship!

HappyHammy · 25/06/2019 21:25

I would take a pg test, I've seen a coil embedded in a babys head.

HumptyNumptyNooNoo · 25/06/2019 21:27

Sorry -blatant place marking ! I'm intrigued!!

thesnapandfartisinfallible · 25/06/2019 21:29

I'd see a GP too but honestly I wouldn't be surprised if you were pregnant.

WhereForArtThouBray · 25/06/2019 21:30

Oh god pregnancy would be awful, wonder if the BF fancies a trip to tesco... Watch this space 🙈🙈🙈

I am early 30s which makes ovarian cancer quite rare I think.
Seems most would go to the doctor though so I am not over reacting and wasting their time
.

It's not as rare as you might think. You should certainly see your doctor and ask for an ultrasound to put your mind at ease.

Crunchymum · 25/06/2019 21:31

That is a pretty big difference for 3 weeks.

Yep, it's going to have to be the GPs I'm afraid.

Dandelion1993 · 25/06/2019 21:32

I get like this when I have my period and extreme bloating

bigbeans · 25/06/2019 21:32

Honestly, I can be like this. In the first pic you're wearing a form fitting dress that has NO structure and nothing to help hold you in. In the second pic you've got shorts on that zip and button (and actually seem a little tight for you so they're squeezing you in)
Are you completely relaxed and letting it all out in the first photo?
The second photo - When you took the shorts off after your night out was it a sigh of relief "ahhhhh"?
Are you due on your period?

FaithInfinity · 25/06/2019 21:32

You definitely need to see a GP. My Mum had ovarian cancer hence me urging you! Generally with ovarian cancer the bloating remains all the time rather than going up and down.

It could be a variety of things but you need to be seen, discuss your symptoms and a proper abdominal exam. It could be a variety of things including an ovarian cancer (but like you say unlikely at this young age), an ovarian cyst, fibroids, some form of bowel issue or food intolerance (I have IBS and I blow up when I have wheat). Definitely get checked out.

origamiunicorn · 25/06/2019 21:33

Gluten intolerance OP? Mine bloats to about this size and then the next day it's back to normal again.

BentBaastard · 25/06/2019 21:33

Get thee to the chemist.

Impatienceismyvirtue · 25/06/2019 21:34

In the gentlest possible way, this is not then forum for medically diagnosing anything. It’s pointless posting pictures. Take them to your GP instead (and try and get a “normal” one at the same angle/in the same outfit as your bloated one).

Orlandointhewilderness · 25/06/2019 21:36

I think Doctor. First thing they will ask is if you have done a test so best to get that out of the way!

bigbeans · 25/06/2019 21:37

Does it feel hard?

PregnantOnPurpose · 25/06/2019 21:38

Checking in to see if the pregnancy test turns out positive 🤣

My friend is gluten intolerant and shes very slim, but if she eats something with gluten in it she swells up massive, to a semi solid round lump, it's perfectly bump shaped, she looks about 8 months pregnant when it flares up and can feel bloated and sore.

CaMePlaitPas · 25/06/2019 21:41

Place marking - keep us up to date OP, hope everything works out

Dontbestupidagain · 25/06/2019 21:46

You have little kids - what bout threadworms??

jaggynettle · 25/06/2019 21:46

Definitely see your GP, bring the pics to show how swollen you go. Hopefully nothing too serious.

Howzaboutye · 25/06/2019 21:47

Good chance you have a wheat intolerance.
Google it. Not eating wheat has changed my life.

Tiredtessy · 25/06/2019 21:49

I ended up with a tummy like that and was asked by several people did I have another one on the way, but I had just suddenly started to pile on te pounds after eating what I wanted for years, I was about 33/34!
