Has anyone else seen it. I cried, actually sobbed. My eldest is 17 and he came with me, DS2 and DD. It was like the official ending to his childhood so I was extra weepy annd so was he.

It seems like only yesterday that he had a very annoying Buzz Lightyear toy that he was obsessed with.

I've got wine.

Peg90- same. I just can’t believe woody would do that.

Typical scenario of a man dumping his mates for a woman imo!

Hmm

Isn't it more of a matter of a man leaving a stressful but involving job in which he's now been sidelined to go freelance before he's made redundant with a shitty package?

Saw it last night, reslly enjoyed it. I didn't expect it but thought woody made the right decision. Gabby's experience highlighted how lucky he'd been with both Andy and Bonnie and he was getting left in the cupboard more and more.

Love it!!

I saw it as Woody being a parent who’s DCs have now flown the nest and he sells up and goes on a worldwide wander instead of hanging about babysitting for the grandkids Grin

I saw it and will gladly share my views Smile
So we are huge toy story fans in my house, TS3 is probably my favourite film, ever. I loved the first 2 as a child and now get to share them with my daughter who also loves all 3 films!

I was a little nervous when the trailers first came out (a spork, really?!) but overall I really enjoyed TS4. Granted, it's not as brilliant as the earlier trilogy but it's not awful either. There were some really funny and well written parts to the film and my daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Loved Giggle Mcdimples!

For me, the real hero of the film was Bo Peep! I loved her character and the progression they showed. Her backstory since TS2 was believable and refreshing and her absence in TS3 was well explained also. I agree with pp that there wasn't much focus on the main gang, such as Rex and Jessie etc but I read somewhere that really this film was about introducing new characters to a whole new generation, which may be why they decided to focus on the newer characters.

I for one really liked the ending, it was surprising and apt to see Woody thinking of himself for a change! (Since TS1 anyway!) I Don't think anything can be as heartbreaking as when Andy gives away his toys to Bonnie and plays with them one last time. TS4 ending was emotional, but in a different way - Woodys choice seemed right. I teared up as soon as I saw the Pixar lamp Grin and also when 'You've got a friend in me' started playing! Will always love these movies, they are very special to so many people.

I don't think Woody was thinking about himself. He was thinking about Bo.

I thought the Gabby story was an interesting piece on the pros of organ donation Grin
