Lots of bbqs as the weather is forecast to be sunny and warm. Pork fillet, steaks, chicken, maybe the odd sausage for the kids with a big salad and maybe baby potatoes.

Madvixen · 21/06/2019 19:35

Oohhh @Mominatrix please may I have the lentil
recipe? It sounds fantastic.

Sticky garlic and ginger chicken with coconut rice tomorrow
Beef and pork stew
Macaroni cheese
Dahl
Ham, egg and chips
Jacket potato and salad

Hubby works away during the week so weekday meals tend to be really quick and simple with the more time consuming recipes saved for the weekend

One pescatarian here hence the lack of meat in most meals

  • Spaghetti Bolognese (both beef and quorn. Will batch cook and freeze several portions of each.
  • Quorn pieces & veg enchiladas
  • Fish fingers, wedges & beans (always try to have one meal that’s really easy that you can chuck in the oven!)
-Curried cod (new one to try out, got the recipe from the bbc good food website) -Thai red prawn curry

Can’t remember what else.

TheChippendenSpook · 21/06/2019 21:10

QOD I like you're style!

Tonight I had pizza, chips and beans and I'm not sure what to have tomorrow or what to plan for the weekend and next week but it will most likely involve beef stew and possibly chilli at some point.

iklboo · 21/06/2019 21:18

You’re all mad. Or chefs

DH finishes at 3pm so he cooks. I plan, he does the cheffy bit Grin

QOD · 21/06/2019 21:18

Thank you @TheChippendenSpook
lol

Surely only on mums net do children (and I use that term loosely as mine is 20 and wouldn’t eat that) eat mushroom burgers and risotto 😭

Reythelastjedi · 21/06/2019 21:37

Satay veggie skewers with rice and salad
Veggie sausages, mash, veg and gravy
Chilli salmon pasta and broccoli (without salmon for the vegetarians)
Baked potatoes, beans and cheese
Veggie pasta
Veggie risotto
Veggie curry

We've veggie don't.you know.

TheWoollybacksWife · 21/06/2019 21:52

Q0D DD1 would eat risotto and might eat a mushroom burger but DD2 and DS are veg dodgers and would run a mile if even suggested them 😂

delilahbucket · 21/06/2019 22:00

Philly cheese steak sandwich and salad
Turkish lamb flatbreads
Teriyaki chicken thighs with stir-fry
Patatas bravas and alioli
Carbonara
IKEA meatballs with mash, veg and I make my own sauce
Nothing planned for tomorrow at the moment as I'm out until late evening.

BuzzShitbagBobbly · 21/06/2019 22:05

I don't plan. The idea of it bores me, although I can see its merits if you have numerous people to cook for daily.

I'm on a bit of a clear out the freezer bender so it'll be whatever I lay eyes on and fancy the night before, cooked up with whatever veg/sides i feel like on the day.

Mominatrix · 21/06/2019 22:09

@Madvixen, it is an Ottolhengi recipe - here is a link.
