Which gigs/concerts are you attending this year?

I go to very few concerts but I'm going to see my favourite band Rammstein in July and last week I saw the Mongolian Rock band The Hu in concert and they were absolutely incredible, even better than I'd hoped.

Which bands are you seeing this year?

The Streets Brixton. Atmosphere Camden. James Wembley arena with charlatans supporting. Tom Walker at our local record shop. All fab. Reading festival in August. Tom Walker again in October. Primal Scream in November. Missed out on manic street preachers, still 😢

Saw Rod Stewart in Wolverhampton weekend before last and seeing him again in December. Me and Dsis have been fans since the early 70s and decided to see him a good few times as he's 74! And amazing

May see others later in the year. I work at a stadium.

The B52s in Nottingham, Kylie in Edinburgh and Belinda Carlisle in Glasgow.

So far this year I've seen
Twenty one pilots (totally amazing and my new musical obsession)
George Ezra (twice, once with my kids, once with my friend)
Hugh Jackman

And I'm going to see Keane in October.

My boys who I take to gigs have autism and I was worried the first time I took them to a gig (we saw The Feeling) but they loved it. I'm not diagnosed but pretty sure I have autism too. I usually hate crowded places, but I think gigs are different as everybody is there for the same reason and loves the same thing. So I don't look so weird when I start droning on and on about the artist!

Oh, we went to Churches earlier this year too.

So far I have seen Mike and the Mechanics and Clare Bowen (Scarlett from Nashville). Going to the Black Deer Festival at the weekend.

Muse were epic at the London Stadium a couple of weeks ago

Lots and lots of local bands, as yet unsigned. I'm a big believer in supporting developing talent - you never know who will be the next Big Thing. Plus DC1 is in a band!

Went to see Mark Knopfler and his band in Newcastle last month. Not really my thing but DS18 was very keen to go.

You've just piqued my interest to find something I might like.

I saw Lenny Kravitz last week and going to Keane in Sept. Wish I was going to the Reading Festival - the line up this year is incredible.

Just saw Kelly Jones (lead singer of Stereophonics) at the weekend, he was amazing. Also saw scouting for girls and kaiser chiefs at pub in the park, also great. Not getting to any festivals this year though 😞
