I’m on a thread chatting about Ghosts and HH obviously gets mentioned quite a bit and not wanting to derail that thread I thought I’d start one to talk about our favourite HH songs and skits.

I love so many of them it’s difficult to pick a favourite but I’ll start with Literally. So many heavy rock memes it’s fabulous...literally!😀

We love all the HH songs, the parodies are so clever. Love catching bits from the originals in the HH version. DC always points out when we hear the originals on the radio.

Favourites are the Simon & Garfunkel vikings, Kylie Australia, Charles Dickens, Dick Turpin, Luddites, the Greek philosophers and the Pilgrim fathers. The Few is poignant, clever and great eye candy. Oh yes sirree....

Really enjoyed Yonderland and Ghosts too, witty, inventive and genuinely funny.

Not a song but on one of the dvds is out takes including some whole sketches not shown on tv about two doctors - Dr D'oom and Dr D'eath. They are probably on line somewhere. Very funny.

My 8 year old has been HH obsessed for about 3 years. Probably the most commonly utter phrase in this house is either DH or myself saying "I never seen this one, have you seen this one? how can there be an HH I've never seen?" Most of them I've seen loads of times but every time I think I've seen them all up pops a new (to me) episode.

Oh so many! Lots of these ones and we often sing the monarchs song in the car.

Currently on the playlist: Vaccinations is a huge fave in our house. For some reason the Proclaimers/Magna Carta one makes me well up a bit. And I do love Starting Over Again from the Great Fire of London episode.

And from one of the recent seasons all the Explorers songs make us laugh. My boys love the Let It Go version of Peter Freuchen’s poo, and the Raleigh/Drake/John Davis ‘I’ve got a brand new land to find’ makes us laugh like loons. And the women explorers song is my current ear worm.
