Who do you think has aged well, and who hasn't? (just lighthearted thread)

Just watching This Morning and Max Beesley is on there. Oh my, did I used to fancy him but blimey AFAIC he has not aged well. He just looks like some boring middle aged NDN now.

Daniel Day Lewis. Gorgeous then, gorgeous now

Jeff Goldblum. Handsome then and now.

Katie Price. Was so attractive when she started out. Not now

Russell Crowe. He had something about him Now just a jowly middle aged man.

Emma Thompson. Had no work done and looks far better now than she used to

My DH. I think he's more handsome than he used to be, he's grown into his grey hair and wrinkles, whereas I just look like a grey haired old woman Grin

I always though Tom Jones looked a LOT better at 60 - 70 than he did in his 20s and 30s.

I think Brett Anderson and Wayne Hussey have aged remarkably well, considering they both enjoyed a rock and roll lifestyle in their youth. Obviously jumping around on stage is good exercise, and I have an anecdotal theory that sweat is good for the skin.

I feel bitchy saying this but I saw Gina McKee in Bodyguard and thought she hadn't aged well - still a great bone structure though and a handsome woman.

Sinitta - mad as a box of frogs but looks no different to when she was on TOTP singing So Macho in the mid 80s. Ben from Curiosity Killed the Cat...not so much.

They look their age but good, not weird.

Totally agree. an as you say T1nah I do think you can overdo the work and then it all goes a bit wrong and you just can't hold back the years.

Peter Capaldi has definitely gotten better with age.
Billie Joe Armstrong not so much. Once saw someone say he's slowly becoming Liza Minelli and now I can't unsee it!

Agree that Peter Capaldi has improved with age.

I think aging also suits Martin Shaw - he looks great.

Why does grey hair suit a man soooo much. I gave into the grey hair about 3 or 4 years ago and I just don't feel it suits my skin tone. I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror and cannot believe I'm grey! My DH's grey hair looks amazing on him.

Don't agree on John Travolta TBH but that's because he dyes his hair and it is so noticeable

Ken from coronation street has looked the same for about 30 years, and so has John Major.....but i dont know whether they just looked too old to start with ....IYSWIM!!
I saw Tom Cruise on Graham Norton a while ago and hes obviously had some fillers or something and he looked like a gerbil!! (Not ageing but just a bit strange)

Martin Kemp looks great now he's stopped dyeing his hair! Jonathon Ross needs to do the same. He had a guest on, can't remember who it was, and this guest said.. listen mate, you really need to stop dyeing your hair!

Geraldine James has lines but looks amazing. Can’t believe she’s pushing 70. I guess being beautiful to start with helps a lot!

Out of the Friends, I think David Schwimmer has aged the best. Look at the main picture in this article and then the picture of him with Jennifer Aniston 20 odd years ago. It’s a while le since I’ve seen her but Sheila Ferguson three degrees and Diana Ross always looked good and oprah
Remember rusty lee ... saw her a few years ago ... looked fantastic

Maybe it’s true what someone up thread said... black skin wears better

I know carol McGiffen has had cancer treatment and that’s has got to affect everything but she also had some work done last year and was on tv the other day and i didn’t notice much different
I’m sure carol wouldn’t give two flying fucks

I was doing alright until about 61/62 but at 67 I can really see a difference
I think getting a bit more grey hair hasn’t helped plus I have ibs and I often wonder how much good stuff I don’t absorb
Not to mention the amount of supplements I take to make up the deficit... I’d probably look worse
It annoys me that my dh and my therapist who is 72 has amazing skin despite the fact he lives in the sun
