Shit. My wedding dress is like Danielle Lloyd's and its getting slated online

It's too late to change my dress and everyone online is commenting that the style is outdated and tacky. I was sent the link from my sister and its the daily mail (so won't link) but if no ones seen it, it's a sweetheart neckline mermaid tail dress. It's almost identical to mine.

The fact I'm not a fan of hers makes it worse!!

Give me a virtual slap and remind me I love the dress and it's not outdated, it's fun and pretty and there are bigger problems in the world

I read the article and was so horrified by her veneers that I can't recall the dress at all!

Now I've looked again, frankly if I had the figure to wear a dress like that I wouldn't care who else had worn one like it

Whatever dress a celebrity wore would get slated online. People love being bitchy behind a computer, especially towards someone like Danielle.

If you feel good in it and people told you you look good in it then you look good in it. Stop worrying about what strangers think. Your friends and family at your wedding will adore you on it. Don't spoil the run up for yourself.

Was it the dress with all the er, froth at the bottom? I did see online comments slagging it off.

They had an interest in ensuring you actually looked good: their reputation and your satisfaction as a bride and customer. I’m sure you will look lovely and I agree this shape dress is made for you!

I haven't posted for yonks but had to for this. I have no idea who the Danielle is but I just googled her and saw the dress and it is gorgeous and super glam and special as a wedding dress should be!

I wanted to comment because I fell in love with a wedding dress and was leafing through a magazine with girlfriends and the dress I loved came up on a page and my friends were all saying, ugh, that is the worst one, so tacky yuk... I was mortified and gutted. I made the most outspoken one take a morning off work and come with me to see me in the dress and tell me truly what she thought... she did say it looked lovely... she was either a good liar or telling the truth.

Anyway I wore the dress, it was froofy like that one but the froofs started at the waist. I felt like a princess and frothed about in it all day until it was filthy. I looked at my wedding album every day for a year because it made me feel so happy and I loved myself in the dress and it was just a gorgeous, slightly over the top wonderful celebration. I walk past our wedding pictures everyday and it sill always brings a smile to my face 15 years later. My teenage daughters have tried it on and think it is hilarious but I can tell they secretly love it.

I am so glad I went for the dress I loved and didn't tone it down. Go for it, you will look amazing. It is the one chance to really go for somethign special. Wishing you bags of luck with the wedding day and the marriage.

Anyway, things can always be worse. You could be getting married dressed as an artex ceiling.

My sister thought it was a good thing, that I was "on trend" and that the dress looked beautiful. She didn't read the comments.

People have been slaggi g off Danielle Lloyd foryears the girl can do no right and people are going to get their digs in about her wedding dress just because they can fwiw her dress is fine a bit frothy for me but she looks lovely in it, as will you.
