Just that really, what one unsolved crime/mystery/news story do toy wish would be solved?

For me, its Madeleine McCann. It may well just be because of the age I am, its one of the first ones I remember really clearly as it happened.

What about you?

Billie-Jo Jenkins
Although everything points to the abusive adoptive father, but not totally conclusive and there was a weird character hanging around at the time of murder who was also obsessed with sticking carrier bags in bodily parts

Madeleine McCann / Jon Benêt / Beaumont children. The first two because I feel as though they should be simple but have been messed up. The third because I just feel so much for the parents.

Jennifer Kesse and Kyron Horman as well.

Used to be EAR / ONS but that one’s done now. Hopefully DNA will bring a lot of other killers and rapists to justice.

what was that little boy who disappeared in Germany i think it was from a supermarket was a long time ago now but the parents have never given up
also that little girl april i think it was they never ever found a body though someone was charged with the murder i think the family deserve a chance to put the poor girl to rest
keith bennett
any of the cromwell street victims the police think there may be more victims but it is not viable to do any more searches

huglessduglas · 13/04/2019 20:07

Jean McConville after all this time her family deserve to be able to bury her with dignity- the poor woman showed humanity towards a dying soldier she didn’t deserve what happened to her by low life scum.

Also because it’s local to me Lisa Dorian

SunshineCake · 13/04/2019 20:12

It was a little girl that disappeared from a German supermarket. Her name is Katrice Lee.

I find it sad and very disrespectful that people say they are wanting a crime solved as they are saddened by it yet don't spell the name(s) correctly.

SileneOliveira · 13/04/2019 20:20

A few people have mentioned the Alistair Wilson case in Nairn - it really is a total mystery. There's a very good podcast about it which explores a lot of the issues but really raises more questions than it answers.

Jean McConville’s Body has been found and she was buried with her husband.

Kris kremers and Lisanne Froon..I read about this a while ago and it still gives me the heebie jeebies.

Mrsong · 13/04/2019 20:44

I think with kremers and Froon they had an accident, fell off a cliff or something and couldn't move. The pictures taken were probably trying to get the attention of the search party with the flash on the camera. Very sad

Moreteaplease84 · 13/04/2019 21:16

That makes sense, terrible though. Poor girls

ZebraOwl · 13/04/2019 23:44

@colbyandmontysmum

The 5th Norfolks didn’t vanish - & I don’t really know how the myth persists that they did, given the [locations of the] bodies of those not taken prisoner were discovered shortly after the end of the war Confused

Kirsty Maxwell. She’s from my home town and died on a hen do in Spain. They had gone on a night out but were safely back at the hotel and her friend filmed her snoring. Shortly afterwards she fell from a balcony on the floor above. Some of the group did have rooms on the floor above so presumably she had gone looking for one of her other friends and gone to the wrong room but why would she enter a room full of strange men and how did she end up falling from the balcony?

That Kirsty Maxwell death is horrible. Apparently the parents now have forensic evidence that rather than jumping off the balcony, she climbed up, clung on and then fell. An obvious guess would be that she was threatened with gang rape.

tantamountto · 14/04/2019 10:47

I don't think she spent more than half an hour in that apartment.

I wonder if Kirsty sleepwalked into the men's apartment, woke up and panicked not knowing where she was?

My sister has made me aware of a baby that has gone missing in Indianapolis. She is 8 months old! I hope this is solved soon!

Also MM and Keith Bennet.

Ursaminor · 14/04/2019 12:47

Renee Macrae and her son Andrew - disappeared from Inverness in 1976. The burnt out car was found in a layby off the A9. They were never seen again:

tantamountto · 14/04/2019 13:51

Kirsty had no history of sleepwalking. But she had only just arrived at the hotel, and obviously got lost. Her friends' room was next to the men's room.
