really? Is this for real? She sent her dad a letter last August and he said she hasn't tried to contact her. He just gave the letter to the tabloids. If this is real he hasn't told the truth about anything.

She’s known for writing letters so if she’d sent an email that would have been used as ‘proof’ that she didn’t even give him the time she gives other people.

Plus a letter can’t be cut and pasted, or edited. Also there would have been the issue of her email address - she’d have had to use a burner email, which would have caused the ‘not even from her actual email’ comments or her email address would have undoubtedly been made public.

I think the timing is very carefully organised. This letter is the kind of thing that could have been sat on until the first “my granddaughter/grandson” article, whereas this way Meghan knows that nothing is sacred to her father at all.

That she's lost valued staff so quickly, makes me think perhaps she's a diva too - nothing would surprise me in the future

Actually if you look past the DM’s reporting you’ll see that’s so inaccurate.

One has an unwell spouse and has been rumoured to be leaving since 2017. One was always a temporary appointment. And the police officer has, like many people, left the Met entirely not just requested a move away from Meghan and Harry.

I couldn’t take anyone who wrote me a letter like that seriously. The amount of time spent perfecting the loops and swoops, it’s all about the show not the content. Much like MM herself.

The comments below the constant DM articles are usually infested with idiots, spewing irrationality. All I can say is, you’re lucky you’ve not been cursed with a narcissistic parent, but the fact that you can’t see one laid out bare in front of you isn’t a point in your favour.

DM closed comments on their letter publication: they weren’t going the way they expected and reasonable people were pointing out the fact that him selling it shows that a) he’s a liar when he said there’d been no attempt to contact him and b) he cannot be trusted.

If you can’t trust a parent the best thing for your own sanity is to go no contact. Particularly when their narcissistic abuse is there for the world to see. Sadly some refuse to see it.

Re MM owes her dad nothing. What about her expensive private education that has left him struggling in his retirement.

Thank goodness I am not famous. This is one of the tricks my DM would have loved to have sprung on me. As it is she spreads as much unpleasantness locally about her ungrateful non contact children.

When I read the letter I felt for Meghan. The comments were blocked for the ‘article’ it was included in so readers then commented on it under another Meghan article. Most of the comments I read seemed to favour her father, saying she was the manipulative one. I still say you have to feel bloody desperate to write and send such a letter.

My ex provided our DC with a private education but he was a total bastard who none of us have anything to do with. Providing an education and a bed to sleep in does not mean someone is wonderful or is owed anything by the recipient.

Meghan I think needs to call off the PR offensive and go about her business without tryIng to come out of this looking good because a goodly percent of those who read articles in the DM and other tabloids who publish this shite, have already decided she’s a narcissistic, manipulative user and nothing she does right now will persuade them otherwise. You can't believe it. William would never say something like that. He is happy for his brother. Look at what happened to their mum when Charles wasn't allowed to marry Camilla. Charles was unhappy and Dina was very unhappy as a result. Why would they repeat the same mistake?
