Cg has just text to ask if he can continue to use my garage for storage after the job has finished - and says obviously he'll pay. I don't know what to say.

And as a total aside, I have gin in my eye and it stings like buggery! It looks like I've been crying for a month - hope it subsides by tomorrow.

Ooh CG is playing the long game, securing future opportunities to visit.... I love to imagine him on some sort of 'builders net' asking advice on how to get in your nix win you over....

Oh Keyra, I don't know how you managed to get gin in your eye but I reckon you need to dilute it with an eyebath of tonic water...

I had to give cg a lift somewhere this morning. I can't park on the drive currently due to the skip so my car is up the road a bit. As we left the driveway who should be walking towards us but formerly lovely male neighbour (CLMN). I muttered "Oh crap no" and cg said "it's fine, don't worry" and caught hold of my hand . Don't know what CLMN made of that but I was immensely grateful to cg.

I'm contemplating having an end-of-works (whenever that may be!) reunion drinks gathering and inviting all cast members. Good idea or not?

What about gin? You could treat them to a taste testing session of different gins the Friday afternoon before Christmas, they may then confess their smitteness with you...
