Aaaaaaagh! I’ve been away on holiday for the last fortnight and am not at all ashamed to admit this thread was one of the first things I checked on m iPad when I got back today! Over invested? Moi?

What a stonking update Keyra - a very epic slow burn! I really hope you and CG have a great time getting to know each other better (no innuendo intended, well, only a little bit). Please let us know how you get on, both with him but also the kitchen and extension! (I really am over invested...)

Well this could be way more interesting than watching paint dry...an update would be worthy of a tea break.

Oh bollocks! I wrote a long post updating and I've lost it somehow.

Happy New 2019 everyone, hope all went well for everybody.

Short update for now:

• The crew is back at work.
• The teeth are in.
• Crush levels are high - but on cg this time not cb.
• Mr Fln is home from hospital and sleeping in his dining room (so dd tells me anyway)
• Dd bumped into cb in a pub on NYE and had a nice long snog convo with him.
• Ra has had a nice break in Budapest - no doubt paid for by the large fee I donated to him for doing bugger all.
• New cast member to join soon - cb's stepdad.
• Cg has just made me a cup of tea

This really needs to be put in a book, think 'Why Mummy Swears' etc and you'd be on to a winner. You have such a way with words and have us hanging on to your every word.

I've followed this from the first thread and was team cg all the way! My heart is happy now.

Keyra, is the crush on CB completely gone or are you trying to tell yourself to move on? I hope that doesn't come across as rude, I am genuinely rooting for you and CG but if it was me I think I'd have a hard time completely moving on from the one who it all began with.

Sighs happily at CG and Keyra having a nice cuppa and the prospect of further developments with the cast.

Can somebody explain the false teeth. OP was attracted to the one originally who kept taking his false teeth out (which seemed to attract her more??!!) but has ended up with his older boss? Aren't the no teeth a turn off, what am I missing?
