@Dontwalkaway I am a Londoner so I’ll be on home turf(ish), and a second-time MN Meetup attendee. Upthread I volunteered to keep an eye out for the first timers (MN meet-up virgins) as I remember how nervous I was when I attended the previous time. I knew no-one from MN IRL before I arrived. I’d trust SBJ that your safe arrival will be assured.

If I have more than one large G&T I get silly so I tend not to drink much but still get silly I also have to hoof off fairly early as I have 3 dogs that need feeding buggers

I'll add my name to the list, if I may, for a PM of the venue - still not sure whether I can make it though - I might have to turn up at the last minute?!

I couldn't make the last one as I suddenly had to work on St Paddy's day.

@atomicfission It's definitely not a suitable environment for kids, more an option to escape from them for the afternoon/evening and have a lively few hours drinking and nattering.

For the lightweights/newbies who are nervous, I don't drink alcohol and I'm not usually the only sober one!

@Davros it’s the 1st December and normally starts around midday and ends around 11pm. People will join in for anywhere in that time frame (or you could be like myself and @finnmcool and be there for the whole time), if you decide to come put your name on the list (copy and paste it then add your name) and you will get a PM with the venue on it from SBJ at some point

You should know you don’t need to ask about the cake @marriednotdead, the answer will always be yes
