How is the venue coming along?

I'm mostly posting because this had fallen off my "threads I'm on" page.

I have no particular pizza-related opinions to offer.

SBJ it would be awesome if we could finalise the venue!! are we going to the place near the station?

Venue will be confirmed today.

It's usually just a filthy pub and copius amounts of alcohol Dontwalkaway!

We have been to lovely posh venues previously, especially at the summer meet-ups, but this one will be a normal pub, with normal pub grub, and also potentially cake 🍰...

As long as I can get into it and get to the loo

I will PM deets when I get the time. It is a short walking (or rolling!) distance to one of the major main-line stations in a fairly central location. It's accessible also, Ica, don't worry!

I know this is SBJ’s event but I would like to add as self-oppointed virgin monitor that I’m not a massive drinker, particularly just at the moment as I’ve got a lot of life stressors going on, and I still had a great time last time. To be fair I didn’t stay to the bitter end as I had to go somewhere else and I rather felt that I left just as the party was getting started.

Hope you don’t mind me mentioning this SBJ and looking forward to seeing some of you again and meeting lots of new people too.
