Thrilled to get the pm. No longer Raindrops. Would love to come but can't do 1st or 15th.

December is sooo busy I wonder if January would be better. Hearts and I once organised a v impromptu deep midwinter meet because we were fed up and needed booze. MrsSchadenfreude and LRD came and INeedMoreSleep and two or three others. It was grand.

Well I've got Saturday 1st approved so crossing fingers that it's the chosen date!

Yay, we've got quite a group going now!

Of the 18 or so on the thread so far, 8 have expressed a preference for Saturday 1st, 4 for the 8th or 15th and 6 who didn't mention a preference either way.

Do we go ahead so, and lock in the 1st?

Anybody else want to weigh in?

I’d say lock in the 1st then just need to decide where

1st works for me, no preference in general. The thing I had signed up for on Saturdays in December just got cancelled so I’m at a loose end flexible.

Good idea. I remember feeling nervous last time. We talked about name badges with user names on, using sticky labels and markers. Will these be a feature? One downside of my offering to host the virgins is that I am no good at all at names and faces. Maybe I am the wrong person for the job?

Labels could be a feature, I'm sure we've had them before. I'll raid the pound shop.
