New ninja thread!!

The other one expired and it doesn't look like anyone else has created one! So I get another barn and leslie didn't steal my victory like last time!!!

I guess technically, technically MN won the last one. However, this is MY barn.

Rules:

Feed the ninja owl(s) in the rafters, cake only. Especially me. I get hungry and cannot eat anything other than cake and no yukky healthy stuff in cake.

No discussion at all about yukky healthy food.

Um..

Did I mention I like cake???

We talk about anything and everything, except obviously healthy food.

It's not advisable to try and win the thread and mention another is about to expire because some people use it to cheat.....

Ahhhh hot chocolate! Yum.

Leslie the bathroom paintwork will be white. Boring, but the tiles are a stunning shade of marine blue (and shaded, so they really do look sea-like) and are taking centre stage. I've found a piece of old wood which I have tidied up to make a driftwood-inspired shelf.

Went out tonight, made it, much harder than it sounds, hoping to see GP tomorrow morning and not be sent to hospital!

Didn't get appointment this morning but got one this afternoon. Their phone system is really stupid - you choose your language then options then it rings but after a few minutes you're told they're busy and then redirects. Turns out you aren't in a queue. So if someone is phoning whilst your being told "we're sorry we're busy, redirecting..." They get the slot Angry

I know I should be grateful, it's just my functioning is better in the morning.

Fuzzy yay for the floor! I hope whatever they do today is not too disruptive :)

We have the window cleaners coming today for the first time in quite a while. I'm very excited.

GP wasn't happy to see me but they did. I've been given new meds but I'm nervous about taking them as I'm feeling so unwell and I'm scared of side effects. They said I don't have the bacteria which causes meningitis but am at risk of the viral form and sepsis as I've been ill two weeks now. My anxiety is dreadful Sad I've done a thread on the medication can't take it until tomorrow morning.

My temperature is still high along with my blood pressure and blood sugars aren't good either.

I think if I just had this it would be but the combination is dreadful.

Oh no. Was it a different GP? I thought your GP was nice Sad good luck with the new medication. Hopefully that will get the infection under control.

It was mine, I think they'd thought I was better and I was there about something else not this again. After they'd looked they were fine. There was a letter from emergency dr on file which had been seen by someone else and not passed to them and they'd not got my message.

no but I've only just started the new antibiotics this morning. Weather doesn't help, it wasn't meant to be bad here but it was very hard going get meds, my joints are aching from walking against the wind.

Did you see the royal wedding?! I happened to tune in briefly just as the wind blew up a woman's skirt (Louise someone, apparently) and showed her knickers! Shock

Oh I googled and it's Louise, Edward and Sophie's daughter. Poor thing Sad I thought it was someone older, but I suppose she must be quite old by now.
