WTF Album Covers

(un)Inspired by utterly dreadful 'Top Of The Pops' album covers of the 1970s, it struck me that there must be hundreds, if not thousands of weird album covers out there... I don't mean strange esoteric covers with abstract art, but I mean outrageously provocative (for the time), batshit odd, or creepy as heck covers...

I'm sure a number of them aren't legit, but poetic license is allowed in the name of humour!

They are almost plausible though - as so many covers did resemble these!

It's more fun if they're real though - and there are a lot of real ones out there.

I honestly would LOVE to have some of them for real in a little collection when friends visit... just to see their faces!

My house was on an album cover once.

I've got a raft of dreadful album covers in my shop, people rifle through and say 'how much is this?', I tilt my head, squint at the cover, realise I can't let that one go and end up saying 'it's not for sale' (to be fair I have put a sign there that says 'records not for sale', I play them in the shop - sometimes the same one all day because the record player just does that 'I'll go back to the beginning thing'.
