Here's our tree, total mishmash, no style, all baubles welcome Grin

The Cars bauble is Very Important to DD1 and is metal so she can play with it.

Not at all, four! Looks like brilliant fun. Are those Russian doll father Christmasses on the table?

I think that's lovely Four!

Psam so excited he was jumping around trying to hang the ornaments. We had to 'stop and breathe' several times. [tchgrin]

These photos really sum my kids up. The little excited crazy one, and the dreamy, whimsical one.

And the last one is the little guy who visits us every christmas.[tchgrin]

I love the snowflakes, they are pretty. We have something similar but tackier stuck to the windows.

Oooh look at the lovey little children!

This thread is fab! Love looking at all the beautiful trees. We like to spot people's trees on our travels too.

I've put the artificial tree up ready for the DC to help decorate when they come home from their dad's. This will be the colour coordinated one. My his is our first Xmas in our new home so I've bought new decorations in the new colour scheme. We will have a second small tree in another room for the DC to decorate with homemade decorations but not doing that till next week.

Will post photos when they're done [tchgrin].

Bithurt · 01/12/2013 14:42

This is ours. We put it up in Friday night as my husband went away yesterday and won't be back till next month so wanted to see our ds face with the lights (he's 1) notice the bald spot on the tree where the baubles have been taken off. Also, we forgot till the tree went up that the star for the top broke last year so it looks like we've lopped off the top!

Everyone's trees are so lovely, it's so much fun to see how everyone does their's differently.
DH just finished decorating ours with a LOT of bossing supervision from me, poor dear. It's the first year I've had an artificial tree and I'm still a bit sulky about it, but with a baby on the way we decided low maintenance was best.
So here it is, and for good measure one of DH and the tree... Looks like he wants to climb in it! Teehee!

Ok. This is our tree prior to decoration, just to show the Christmas Elf door (for our Elf Pip that leaves messages and treats for the children, but is never seen as he often pops out to report back to Father Christmas) on the wall next to the tree (and his scroll of introduction).

And then after the DCs decorated it, prior to re-distribution (which will be tonight after they're in bed). Note I have a 4yo and 7yo, so all the decorations are at the bottom of the tree. [tchgrin]

AliceinWinterWonderland · 01/12/2013 17:42

oh no... pics didn't go through...hmmm... must revisit this.

Weegiemum · 01/12/2013 17:44

Wow, ours won't be going up for 2 weeks yet! But I do have my outdoor candle lantern lit and the advent wreath is ready for us to light as a family later.

PsammeadPaintedTheLion · 01/12/2013 17:47

Bithurt and Mogz - very lovely and festive!

My mothers tree, with my very chuffed nephew. He insisted on putting on his builders hat because "I'm decorating and building the tree"

LtEveDallas · 01/12/2013 17:59

We have "Santa vomited on the tree"

I'm not allowed to help and I'm not allowed to change it. I suffer our tree all month.....
