Blush

Yes I am that thick. There's another one Blush and he's old and doesn't play keyboards.

TBH I've met loads of famous people and the only person I ever got fangirl gushy about was David Attenborough, I think I actually told him I wished he was my dad! Blush IME if famous peeps appear nice they usually are nice.

olgaga it's a great film - bit dated and 80s looking now but still good

Ponders · 12/02/2013 22:14

no shame, freddie!

Gia, please do read the Ronson thread. it's really not that unkind. heston's response was seriously OTT Grin

dawntigga · 12/02/2013 22:14

OLIVIA! I did not bring Gia over here so you could pimp her for Mr Gia.

LineRunner · 12/02/2013 22:14

Gia should do a web chat.

ProfessorMavisGrind · 12/02/2013 22:15

Really freddie. Is that hole not that roomy enough?

Started posting a whole arts vs sciences shit thing but was too dull

MrsRajeshKoothrappali · 12/02/2013 22:15

I'd get gushy over David Attenborough too.

He films baby turtles running towards the sea..!

Squeeee!!

Grin
dawntigga · 12/02/2013 22:16

Olivia you should have Gia on with for a web chat with a ban on asking questions about Mr Gia as she's much more interesting.

GiaGia · 12/02/2013 22:16

LineRunner, even if it's all good, it's still WEIRD.

What Frilly said! :)

SusieSusieSheep · 12/02/2013 22:16

This is mega. I just want to point out that I studied physics at Manchester before it was cool. So there.

freddiemisagreatshag · 12/02/2013 22:17

I agree with Tigga. Or if that professor person is allowed on for a webchat he has to be Mr Gia Grin

Grin Just doing my job, though.

GiaGia - Mumsnet would like to cordially invite MrGia on to MN for a webchat.

If you think this is something he would be interested in, could you perhaps ask
his people to get in touch with our people, er, remembers we don't have people us? [email protected]

Thanks ever so much.

Trills · 12/02/2013 22:20

They don't call him Professor to differentiate him.

They call him Professor to emphasise "he is clever and you should pay attention" when he is on educational shows.

They would do it even if there was not another one.

SoftKittyWarmKitty · 12/02/2013 22:20

That's right Olivia, strike while the Fe iron's hot Grin.

ProfessorMavisGrind · 12/02/2013 22:20

And once again....the wife is approached to get to the perceived important husband....

gia - stick around though MN is A Good Place!

QOD · 12/02/2013 22:21

So, professor Green isn't a professor?

bit slow

GiaGia · 12/02/2013 22:21

Olivia I'll ask (he's away filming right now).

FiercePanda · 12/02/2013 22:21

I for one would welcome a web chat from Gia herself, rather than bypassing her to get to her husband.

dawntigga · 12/02/2013 22:22

I'd rather have Mary Beard than Mr Gia tbh.

ILufHerShe'sAceTiggaxx

Trills · 12/02/2013 22:22

And it's probably not even his choice.

3birthdaybunnies · 12/02/2013 22:23

That's if he can face us lot after reading all about himself on here , then freddie can ask the man himself if he knew there was another Brian Cox!

freddiemisagreatshag · 12/02/2013 22:24

Trills - I get that now Grin I was being a bit dim. I am not, obviously, a Professor Grin

OP posts:
Trills · 12/02/2013 22:24

I don't think Mary Beard vs Bran Cox is an either/or choice. Are clever people rationed or something? They are quite different.
