Morning,

Topical post today! Me, trying to understand if anyone actually knows 'how' to drive in snow.

Why has the predicted snow caused driving chaos? Is it because we don't know how to drive in it?

Have tried to start a twitter hashtag on it (oooo look at me, all social networking...though probably on my own!)

It's at #cannotdriveinsnow if you are interested!

MmeLindor Thanks for your post. Have commented and blogged about it and left a message on Aillidh's page. Such a reminder about putting my "problems in context" - http://lowimpactparenting.wordpress.com/2012/02/06/taking-the-time-to-count-my-blessings/ count my blessings

A poetic weekend from me, that was better than some,

and an 'offside' account from a football mum.

Another (inevitable) snow post from me yesterday.

And then today a post I meant to write at the end of last week about one of the many reasons why I love breastfeeding, but it got overshadowed by all this white stuff!

Looking forward to reading others' posts soon....

Hello, today I have blogged about the Kafkaesque process that is trying to get additional educational support if your child so needs it.

And am very delighted to announce that the book of my blog Grace Under Pressure will be published by Piatkus in October 2012. Still pinching myself ...

Evening all, wow Sophrunning that is great news congratulations! I will pop over for a look in a minute.

I have blogged about spending all my time using search engines for tips on how to clean my house, instead of actually cleaning it....This blogpost will tidy your house

Well done Sophrunning, that's great news!

Today I'm banging on about grammar & punctuation (again)...

While I'm here - I love following other people's blogs and love them to know that I'm following them as a way of suppporting their writing but....I don't want my inbox filling up with messages every time someone posts something new otherwise I have to spend every evening clearing out hundreds of posts about blogs that I check regularly anyway! Ithink I'm being very dim here but is there a way to follow or acknowledge a blog that doesn't mean I will get emailed all the time?

Thanks for any help you can give!

wordsarenouseatall ooo. I have discovered StumbleUpon this week. It's good isn't it! I found out how to giftwrap a book in a scarf so that it looked like a handbag... completely random!

Here's my quick post today...

Hope to catch up and have a read of everyone's over the next couple of days, but afraid it will be early to bed tonight due to our ridiculously late night watching the Superbowl.

Tiredness has made me reflective.

I have been asked about the blog post about Aillidh that I did earlier. A couple of bloggers have said they will write about this, and I wondered if any of you would like to join in.

Maybe we could think of a theme, something to write about. Or keep it on the Counting My Blessings theme?

Thank you for such kind words! Book will be based on the blog but more fulsome - a memoir of bringing up my daughter and learning about her condition and how to cope/get her what she needs, while learning also how to run and stay sane/get strong for her. I am slightly overwhelmed by my good fortune in attracting a publisher who wants to help me tell her story sniff sorry -- will pull myself together forthwith! Blush

My latest post for #DoSomethingYummy is based on the prompt of Family.
It was quite hard to write but I'm glad I did.
