Following a suggestion by AModMillyMum, here is our blog post thread, week by week to make it easier to find new posts.

If you have missed any posts, the old thread is here

First blogger who posts on Sunday opens the new weekly thread.

This week I kicked off with a post about Lazy Sunday Afternoon Cookies and yesterday blogged about teaching of foreign languages in Scotland

Over to you.

purplemom I use Google Reader and tend add most of the MN bloggers and others I find interesting.

Purplemom
I do have bloglines but forget to update it, so normally just look through this thread, and the blogger network list and pick one or two a day to look at, if I like the look of the first few lines of the post.

Am working on making the first few lines interesting, as I suspect that others do this too.

MmeLindor, if you have chrome there is a feed reader extension that allows you to add blogs with the click of a button, and a number pops up next to it to tell you how many new blog posts there are to read.

I used to use bloglines, but found updating it a faff.

Today's post on FYP: Helping children deal with grief.

THanks for re-posting the link properly for me yesterday, MmeL! :)

I've just started work on my fourth and fifth books so am having a lazy day! To disguise this, I have reworked my favourite ever blog post and added some extra bits to compensate.

very own Who Do You Think You Are? madameguillotine.org.uk/2011/09/10/madame-guillotine-who-do-you-think-you-are-2 which includes Jack the Ripper (not an ancestor), the Spice Girls (not my fault) and ventriloquism.

MmeGuillotine · 10/09/2011 12:43

Argh, sorry, a small child shoved a toy fish in my face just as I was typing that and in my panic, I hit send before checking the link!

Whoops. That should be 9/11 of course. And I don't have a small child to blame it on, all my own work

Have commented. We are both looking back today.

I made the Thomas Crosby Muffins and they were delicious. Blog here, in which I discovered how to do printable recipes. Might go back and write up the other recipes so that they are printable too. It also connects to GetMeCooking, so that will be interesting to see if it brings more readers to the blog.

Thanks for making that clearer. Sounds fun
