Anyone?

I will start off with a link to my latest post, a part of the story of Beth (formerly known as Dora) who moved to Geneva to escape a relationship turned sour.

This is NOT me, by the way. I have drawn on my knowledge of Geneva but it is not an autobiograpy :)

Again, not my own blog, but here's my second post for the Mslexia blog. Have had lots of responses from other ppl who live with depression - mothers in particular - so thought it was worth sharing here. Please pass on if you think it (or the first one) might help people you know.

FlamingoBingo · 19/08/2011 13:39

Love that scarf, MmeGuillotine! :)

And those photos are lovely, DM!

DirtyMartini · 19/08/2011 13:49

Thanks Flamingo :) I enjoyed your tantrums post. Had a quick gander at a few other blogs and have left comments here & there, inc at yours Alpha to expand on what I said above. Not left comment at yours Reality but I did read it and enjoyed; welcome to the thread.

Thanks stitchthis, too, for reassurance earlier.

TheAlphaParent · 19/08/2011 16:04

J4D3 - been having loads of fun reading through your blog. I love TTC blogs. I must write more about TTC in my blog. It's such an interesting/exciting/frustrating time of a woman's life.

Alpha, I wondered the same thing as Reality when I first read your blog.

If you are that poster then I too have wondered how you were doing a few times over the months.

Weirdly, although the thought crossed my mind while reading your bf story, I actually then totally forgot about it until I saw Reality's post.

stitchthis · 19/08/2011 19:25

on the topic of motherhood but from a different place here's today's thoughts - happy, happy, happy...

J4D3 · 19/08/2011 19:25

Aww thanks Alpha that means a lot. I've had fun reading your blog too, I can imagine that some of it is going to stick with me. Thank you all for being so welcoming and I'm just making my way back through this thread and adding a lot of your blogs (where I can) to my Google reader.

stitchthis · 19/08/2011 20:35

fb I thought your black dog post was excellent. And brave. And just right.

stitchthis · 19/08/2011 20:41

reality I heart your blog!

Another fab post, really inspiring.

I am so envious of your knitting. I tried a few times but am just not patient enough to knit.

Stitch & MmeLindor - thank you :)

Just made myself cry writing the first draft of the third post!

stitchthis · 20/08/2011 06:24

Yes, I cried when I wrote mine but in a good way Hmm

Thanks for kind comments everyone. Todays going to be a bit emotional but it's much better to invoke Pollyanna than give in to sadness. Especially when looking after 2 small boys while DH is away all day. Wish me luck - it's softplay all the way today.

TarynM · 20/08/2011 20:57

I hope I am ok putting this link in, got into trouble before - sorry mumsnet. I am so busy sometimes I don't always get round to reading the smallprint. Anyway, if anyone is interested in finding out one of the good things that came out of school, please Click here Smile

FlamingoBingo · 20/08/2011 21:41

Thanks, Reality :)

Taryn -that fudge looks delicious!

Bread - and the macaroons! :D

J4D3 · 21/08/2011 09:25

Ah goodness me, those posts have made me very hungry indeed. The DH is going to have a shock when I declare I want fudge for breakfast!

Taryn - would the basic recipe change if I wanted to make different flavoured fudge? Rum and rasin is my ultimate favourite, nom nom! I'm thinking to just add rum flavouring instead of vanilla and bung some rasins in and hope for the best!

Bread - I really wish your blog was edible!
