TheSmallPrint · 21/02/2011 10:04

Twigs am about to message you..

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 21/02/2011 11:22

They're lovely, Small. Did you make the fox costume?

::impressed::

And don't we all love big Cats?

::Nul points to the first person to point out that a fox isn't a cat::

TheSmallPrint · 21/02/2011 11:40

got it on eBay why yes Maud, I amde it with my own fair hands Wink. I did do the face painting two minutes before school. It was for world book day, he did want to go as <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=www.blendernation.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/07/astros1.jpg&imgrefurl=beta.blendernation.com/blender-used-for-cover-illustrations-of-mondadori-italian-book-publisher&usg=__uzdmvCUR9AuRIat1Vcf0-g0_z7U=&h=479&w=353&sz=39&hl=en&start=0&zoom=1&tbnid=0TJK9GTi7dgT_M:&tbnh=138&tbnw=102&ei=qU5iTc_UBcWYOqPi0c0J&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dastrosaurs%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DX%26biw%3D1899%26bih%3D876%26tbs%3Disch:1%26prmd%3Divnsb&itbs=1&iact=hc&vpx=235&vpy=373&dur=14&hovh=262&hovw=193&tx=109&ty=150&oei=qU5iTc_UBcWYOqPi0c0J&page=1&ndsp=75&ved=1t:429,r:30,s:0" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Teggs from Astrosaurs but 24 hours notice to knock up a dinosaur astronaut costume was pushing it!

I think my facepainting is as good as those cats

TheSmallPrint · 21/02/2011 11:40

made.

SupermassiveLBD · 21/02/2011 12:07

Morning all!

What delightful little boys, Small. You must love them to bits.

Well, obviously Messire de Gisborne did not oblige last night but I spent some time with him this morning, being as Mr M and the Superboys were not around.

It was the one with the kebabs, if anyone is interested. Gizzy was all mean and horrible, being the taxman, but looking so delicious, I have to confess my thoughts were as rude as any Maud has accused me of having.

Involving bushes, and boots, and things. Need I say more?

What has become of the respectable middle-aged matron type lady I used to be? I am totally Shock Blush at myself, all anew.

TheSmallPrint · 21/02/2011 12:34

I think you locked her in the cupboard Massive. Wink

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 21/02/2011 12:40

Have any of our resident twitterholics seen this?

TheSmallPrint · 21/02/2011 12:48

I saw it in the Observer yesterday, bloody Michael bloody Winner. What a waste of space.

SupermassiveLBD · 21/02/2011 12:52

I think I must have, Small. Cos I don't recognise this me at all. I was never given to such visceral reactions.

I saw that yesterday, Maud. Makes you think, doesn't it? About what people are capable of, under a cloak of-- I can't call it anonymity, maybe you could say virtuality.

TheSmallPrint · 21/02/2011 12:56

Blame it on Teri.

I've never like MW but I like him even less now.

DumSpiroSpero · 21/02/2011 12:58

Eeeewww! Wish I hadn't read that whilst eating my lunch - what a twonk!

Small - your boys are soo cute! Love the fox outfit Grin.

Hello, and WHERE HAVE I BEEN???!!!!

Missed all the fun last night...gutted!

About that article, I won't lower myself to comment...

PhoenixRisingFromTheAshes · 21/02/2011 13:45

By the way, I am on half term holiday toooooo!!!!!

PassTheTwiglets · 21/02/2011 13:56

Small, what beautiful boys! And Good Lord, you are talented at face painting - most of my efforts have been met with a Confused face from the kids.

Involving bushes, and boots, and things. Need I say more?

I think we are on the same wavelength :)

Just taken the kids to a Mini Street Dance session, whereupon TwigBoy decided he was petrified of the Whole Thing so he just sat clinging to me! That was worth a fiver then...

Hello Phoenix!

SupermassiveLBD · 21/02/2011 14:08

Hello, Phoenix, sorry you were't with us last night, Twiggy outdid herself. I was still snorting in retrospect, over my breakfast vat mug of coffee.

Poor TwigBoy, having to hold on to mummy, but how sweet. Then they get bigger and pretend they don't know you in the street, when they are with their cronies.

TheSmallPrint · 21/02/2011 14:21

Ooh you're all here at once!

Love the idea of kids street dancing. DS1 has no natural rhythm but DS2 is a great little mover. KNights of Cydonia came on the radio a bit earlier and he was rocking out big style!Grin Grin

PhoenixRisingFromTheAshes · 21/02/2011 14:47

I always find the first day on my own with the kids a trial of my patience and this time is no exception!!!!!

TheSmallPrint · 21/02/2011 14:57

It's always a nice thought spending time with them - the reality is quite different sometimes!

DumSpiroSpero · 21/02/2011 15:41

Looks like our mate Caravaggio would have got on with Sir Guy

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 21/02/2011 15:45

As always, Massive, you've hit the nail on the head about what people feel able to do under the cloak of virtuality. That's why I worry (maybe needlessly) that some of our more, ahem, uninhibited comment here takes us into Winner territory.

For anyone struggling to keep their offspring occupied, . Are you sitting comfortably?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 21/02/2011 15:50

Yeah, Spiro, Caravaggio's always been known as a bad boy. Artists, eh?

SupermassiveLBD · 21/02/2011 16:17

Very interesting article there, Spiro. An fascinating topic, the sense of entitlement in anyone who fancies himself a bit above the rules for any reason, birth, wealth talent etc etc.

Maud, I see what you mean, we are a bit naughty at times. But Winner is downright malicious. I feel any implied criticim or ridicule on here is clearly targeted at ourselves.
