Time for a new specialism, methinks!

On a kiddies show too.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 20/02/2011 23:10

On a kiddies show watched by a significant number of mummies. Besides, he's a Method actor so (I guess) would give no less a performance for the kiddies than he would for the RSC.

PassTheTwiglets · 20/02/2011 23:10

Would you like to hear more of my theatrical anecdotes? Yes, always! If I recall, we practically had to drag them out of you!

Spiro, have just seen the other pic of DD - oh she is beautiful!

Would the full version of that be Twigs, you have been a very naughty girl. See me in my room? I thought that but daren't post it, yes :)

DrTwigs seems ok at the moment but I'm not going anywhere near him just in case :) Poor boy has to be up at silly o'clock to go to Cardiff tomorrow as well. I am also majorly sulking because it means that I am on kid duty for tehe forseeable future but I'm trying very hard not to think of spending time with my children as punishment :)

DumSpiroSpero · 20/02/2011 23:10

Maud, I will have to beg to differ on the eyes front (although I'm sure his are enhanced in some studio pics as a matter of course).

You can't see it in my pics but I naturally have very vivid, pale blue eyes and am constantly asked if it's down to coloured contacts.

I just tell the asker that I'm a mutant Grin

Definitely the look of Gizzy, especially when you crank it up to the good ol' 400%.
I must watch the vid and see what made him do it.

DumSpiroSpero · 20/02/2011 23:13

Thank you Twigs - I think so too, but I'm a teen bit biased!

Have you got much planned for half term?

OP posts:
PassTheTwiglets · 20/02/2011 23:14

Oh don't get me started on the bedtime stories presenters! I am convinced that they deliberately engage actors and actresses (do we say 'actresses' these days?) hat the mummies and daddies will want to watch.

If I have to tell you one more time, Twigs...

PassTheTwiglets · 20/02/2011 23:14

I'm warning you...

PassTheTwiglets · 20/02/2011 23:15

Right, that's it! You! My room! NOW!

SupermassiveLBD · 20/02/2011 23:18

Twigs sorry to hear about Dr Twigs etc etc. You will just have to watch non-stop CBeebies stories with your kiddies to pass the time.

I still think that expression was rather strong stuff for the Pampers and Playskool set, even if mummies were getting a nice surprise with their morning coffee and fig roll biccie..

SupermassiveLBD · 20/02/2011 23:20

Grin @ Twigs's series of piccies. You wish!

DumSpiroSpero · 20/02/2011 23:21

Love it Twigs!
Fig rolls - they're my mum's fave biccie. She spent my.whole childhood trying to convince me how wonderful they are (without much success)

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 20/02/2011 23:22

Oh yes of course these were bedtime stories so it'd have to be an evening cup of coffee and a ratafia instead of the fig roll

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 20/02/2011 23:22

I don't think we disagree, Spiro. It's generally the posed publicity shots which I'm thinking about.

SupermassiveLBD · 20/02/2011 23:24

I must say I hate fig rolls too, it's the little gritty seeds that put me off them.

SupermassiveLBD · 20/02/2011 23:26

Twiggy, you are on a roll here, too. But more of an 'in the hay' kind than a fig one.

SupermassiveLBD · 20/02/2011 23:29

OMG

Did we spot the Torchwood Fix You? I remember the Dr Who one (talking of Cardiff, and all)

DumSpiroSpero · 20/02/2011 23:29

Maud, I definitely agree about the posed shots - there's always room for improvement and on some pics it's very obvious. Mind you PhotoShop is a wonderful thing, I have never used it to -shave inches off my bum use it occasionally myself.

OP posts:
DumSpiroSpero · 20/02/2011 23:30

Are you a Torchwood fan, Massive?

OP posts:
DumSpiroSpero · 20/02/2011 23:33

Haven't been able to eat custard dreams for about 3 years following a particularly traumatic episode of Big Brother.

Give me a lemon puff, ginger snap or chocolate hob bin, however...Biscuit

SupermassiveLBD · 20/02/2011 23:40

TBH I haven't seen Torchwood, it hasn't yet hove into sight on the international Beeb, Spiro. The OMG-ing was more in the sense of ''erg, not another than 'oh thud and thud again'

Twigs, you are hilarious. you need a website with these on, with your captions, they are inspired

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 20/02/2011 23:42

Have you seen my brontosaurus?

I noticed the Torchwood Fix You earlier today but I'm still finding a very little of that song goes a long way. I'm going to bed now but as you drink your cocoa and eat your ratafia biscuit.
