To try and make this clear for people - this post and all the claims are BS. Don't believe me? Link below to Financial Times who discuss this 'get rich quick scheme' and even refer to THESE POSTS on Mumsnet as part of the problem. The posters here claiming they are making 75k a year and that you 'can't lose' are delusional and quite frankly lying.

However you've also linked to PA, which suggests that you actually do the only thing that makes money from slots which is to take advantage of free spins/bonuses, having calculated the EV. Assuming that's what you do, then yes it works.

But playing random slots hoping to make everything you've put in and then profit on top is gambling. And responsible for a lot of damage in people's lives. So don't encourage it.

Occasionallyincomplete - I read the article. It agrees that MB makes money for people that do it. The article was actually about websites advertising testimonials from people that make thousands a month, and the sites' inability to substantiate those claims which made them fall foul of the advertising standard authority. It didn't say MB was all a con at all. And it didn't mention casinos at all.

Okay, I apologise. I worded it wrongly. I use the slot offers, e.g. spend £20 get £5. I play on different slots until there's a win (my balance is higher than I started - which almost always happens at some point) and then move to a different slot. Sure it's not foolproof, but logic suggests it will work most of the time.

I have gambled in the past thinking I could beat the slots and I think I even admitted in this thread losing £200+ in a sitting, so I wouldn't encourage gambling at all. Also I worked for William Hill and saw countless people with a gambling problem.

I haven't read the FT article because you have to register and I frankly don't care that much. I know MB works and it would work for anyone that follows the rules properly.

My old next door neighbour is a professional arbitrage gambler... I don't really know what this is and certainly wouldn't encourage it and anything I've found online says that it doesn't work but I know it's his only job and they just moved to a massive house because of his earnings.

Also back in 2002 or so we had a couple of people banned from our WH shop for 'beating the system'. So not saying it's possible now but it could well have been then!
