The water tank, drip tray and coffee-grounds container can all be removed for refilling or cleaning
Dawn read the manual before first use and recommends doing the same. It explains useful jobs such as setting the water hardness and adjusting the ceramic grinder's coarseness, plus features that aren't immediately obvious.
Once that first set-up was done, she found the machine simple to operate:
“Before using it for the first time, I read through the manual, which I would recommend as it contains some useful setup information, such as adjusting the water hardness and grinder coarseness settings.
“There were also a few helpful tips and features that I would not have discovered on my own.”
How easy is the Bosch VeroCafe to use?
Very, according to Dawn. The illuminated Easy Select panel presents the drinks clearly and the one-touch system handles grinding, brewing and, where needed, frothing. You can adjust the strength, but this isn't a machine that demands a small vocational qualification before it'll make a latte.
“The Easy Select control panel is clear and user-friendly”, Dawn shared. “All you need to do is choose your preferred drink, and the machine takes care of the rest.”
The water tank pulls out from the side, so it can be removed without dragging the whole 7kg appliance across the worktop. The bean container is also easy to remove and refill. The machine runs a brief rinse when it switches on and again when it switches off, releasing a little water into the drip tray each time.
