argh which tribunal to follow then as I personally know some of the people speaking at both!

Ash Sakar on Newsnight right now. Saying we need to "respect the rule of law" in relation to protests against the small boat crossings. Does she feel the same passion in relation to upholding the SC judgement?

Thanks for the links, the articles show how much brain rot the RCN has developed because of this blatantly obvious stupidity.

Mulreany sounds like a nasty piece of work, doubly so if he's also a nurse. I hope all those in the RCN who are pandering for this ideology are confronted with the reality of what type of man they've turned into a hero of the 'marginalised'. I personally take Tommy Robinson over him any day of the week.

It's not difficult to think that all of the unions, organisations and companies have been affected by the same brain rot. The more that is known the better, blanket them all with sunlight so there are no shadows for the idiots to hide in.

It's so damn Orwellian isn't it? I suspect that performative loud gasping at hearing reality stated is very much about "do it to Julia" especially as they'd already seen what was going on in the chat.

Been listening where I can while working, then trying to catch up on missed bits... reading Nick Wallis's email I have just realised who the next two witnesses for Sandie (Jennifer Melle and Bethany Hutchinson) are. I hadn’t registered the names before but I am so impressed with these witnesses! Feels like the net is really closing in on this union, now the women are uniting.

There will be union bods still utterly mystified about what has happened and how. That nurse a witness mentioned yesterday, visibly upset in the virtual session that a court has confirmed that men are still men....

Do we think today's witness will be full on TRA, or throw someone (probably who isn't down to appear) under the bus? My money is on the latter - claiming he had Stonewall type training and was only obeying orders. Or, a complete denial it was anything to do with her being GC at all and she just lost out on a technicality.

I will have workmen around at some points this morning (maybe also this afternoon, it's unclear) so can't promise to c&p (and may also have to turn off my sound from the tribunal, sob) - can someone else do it?

Welcome to Day 3 of Peggie vs Royal College of Nursing from Dundee Employment Tribunal, which starts at 10.00. Peggie is taking action against the RCN, her union, for failure to support her during her employment dispute with Fife Health Board.

We anticipate this morning’s witness will be Norman Provan, the RCN’s Associate Director of Employment Relations

However, much to my surprise and that of many people on the FWR board, all but one of Sandie Peggie's claims was rejected.

How much that was due to Jane Russel and how much to the Judge I couldn't say. Perhaps it didn't influence J Big Sond and his colleagues.

We'll have to see what happens on appeal.
