One could argue that anyone who thinks it's a good idea to let men however they identify into female single sex spaces should be investigated, especially if they have children.

The Kenwood Ladies Pond is provided as a service to the public by the City of London Corporation. It is provided under various Acts of Parliament including the Equality Act 2010. This Act requires CoLC to provide the service to everyone equally unless there is an exception under the Act. The only exception is Schedule 3 Paragraph 28 which allows for discrimination by sex where it is a proportionate means to achieve a legitimate aim. CoLC can comply with the Act in one of two ways: they can restrict the service to biological women only or they can make the service available to both sexes. They have moved heaven and earth to avoid this coming to court but they are running out of tarmac.

The law will decide.

No. She was angry and her voice was raised above the din in the room but she wasn't screaming or in any way "histrionic". She was remarkably articulate under the circumstances actually.

For sexist people, angry is the worst thing for a woman to be. How dare a woman speak loudly and immoderately? How dare she allow her face to frown and redden? How dare she put herself forward and demand others listen to what she wants to say to them as if she matters?

I was at the meeting. The way Venice behaved at the meeting was appalling. She was massively aggressive, didn’t listen to anyone and talked over people. A really crazy strategy if she actually wanted to change anyone’s mind…

She needs to take a different approach - setting up a sound system to drown out the voices of this she disagrees with, perhaps, or releasing thousands of flying insects? We could come up with a list of hundreds of different methods she could use to express herself in a far more aggressive yet somehow acceptable (in the eyes of the TRAs and their supporters) way.

Wouldn't it be cool and kind of trans women to use the mixed sex bathing pond? That way no one has to feel uncomfortable.

There's no reason for transwomen to avoid the mixed sex pond.

It'd be interesting to see wh'd start attending once the pond has a dedicated womens section again.
