Transwomen can never be any type of woman regardless of any surgeries or cross sex hormones
No man should be using the female facilities regardless of how well he behaves or not
Women shouldn't have to see a man in their changing facilities regardless of whether hes had his penis skinned and inverted or not
Agree on the nonbinary bs but we shouldn't be medicalising anyone who claims atrans identity either
There's nothing a man can ever do to become a woman or be seen as what he will never be

There aren't any true trans children but there may be children who have gender dysphoria . None should receive any medical treatment except therapy

There is no self ID in the UK and even a GRC doesn't entitled people to use opposite sex spaces and services. If you are a men you cannot use the ladies

Even of you understand that you haven't changed sex and are still a man

Welcome to Mumsnet @walkthedino - interesting first post. Trans women are men and men isn’t an offensive term. There’s no such thing as a trans child, though some children are groomed and yes that is incredibly distressing.

I’ll be glad when the schools, colleges and universities go back.

• Many children are over-medicalised. Rare 'true trans' children should be helped through therapy rather than medicalisation until they are adults when they can choose their path. Medical intervention should be clear about what it can and cannot achieve, including negative effects, so that choices are fully informed.
• Transwomen should not be in womens sport but, if they insist on trying to enter a category they don't belong in, calling them biologically male is factually correct.
• Transwomen are not women but in most social situations this is not important.
▪︎ No-one can control how others perceive them.
▪︎ In medical or single sex provision biological sex is important. No Transwomen should use female only provision, even 'non-disruptively'
▪︎ If you are biologically male you are mentally male - although you may not confirm to typical male stereotypes and behaviours.
▪︎ Non-binary people are either male or female sexed. They can present however they like and are free to change the stereotypes of their sex - more power to them. Do not medicate healthy bodies, embrace your unique personalities.

Any child that is in distress deserves help. I have no idea how you would diagnose a child as being 'true trans' or why you would try to fix their distress with surgery or hormones.

Living a fulfilling life will depend on getting to grips with the fact that people are good at determining sex and sex is sometimes relevant.

If somebody wants to call themself non-binary I have no problem with that. It's a bit sexist, but so is the Catholic Church. All medical care should be evidence based. Stonewall certainly seems to think they are trans.

Yes, that’s a reasonable position. Transwomen or transmen with genuine dysphoria need support, and do get harassed and abused. But no-one can ever change sex. The fundamental problem is self ID and the failure to protect women’s rights.
