I saw the below tweet today and agreed with a lot of it. I wondered what people on this forum thought.

I have copied and pasted so the post doesn’t have to wait for a screenshot to be approved:

My trans positions are VERY CONTROVERSIAL because they are so dead moderate they make both cocaine-fueled extremes angry.

✅ Yes, most children are being overmedicalized. But rare true trans children deserve help or they psychologically shatter
✅ No, trans women do not belong in professional sports. But it’s hateful to call them men.
✅ Trans women are not automatically women. But with hard work and medical intervention, most of us can have fulfilling lives where people perceive us as women.
✅ Self-ID must end. Women’s feelings and safety matter, so if you cannot use the ladies non-disruptively - don’t.
✅ If you can’t understand why women should never see a penis in a locker room, you’re mentally still a man.
✅ We need research to figure out what is happening with this explosion of non-binary identities. They are not trans, and it’s medical malpractice to give them transsexual healthcare.
✅ You have to do the work to be percieved as a woman. Far left politics cannot do this work for you.

I promise you. The overwhelming majority of the public agrees with all of this. If trans people will go back to the non-insane positions of ten years ago, things will get better.

Here is a man who has been demanding to be treated like he was female since the 80s.

Just a reminder that this is the other common reaction from men we see to our rejection that they are female people in any way.

This is the reaction to being told ‘no, you should respect female people’s needs for single sex provisions’ by a celebrity.

Alexandra Billings self published these videos . This one first I believe.

https://x.com/gaynotqueer1/status/2032811484271817092?s=46

Then the chilling and menacing response to women saying 'no' here stitched into Amy Sousa’s response.

https://x.com/knownheretic/status/2032639781658833142?s=46

The menace is chilling to see. Yet, apparently we are supposed to welcome these same men into provisions designated as single sex for our protection from men threatening and intimidating us.

It becomes so clear that these men hate female people in general when they gloat over not being able to stop them accessing provisions that they should be excluded from and lack the inclination to self exclude from. Just as they gloat over organisational decisions to remove female single sex provisions in response to law changes that exclude male people from those provisions.

At the same time, we are supposed to believe that these men are most vulnerable and marginalised’.

OP, can you please explain how this male person would be somehow different if he had had his penis inverted and secured as a cavity in his groin and his testicles removed ? And how would he then be any different to who he is right now after nearly four decades of ‘being a woman’?

Helleofabore · 30/08/2026 08:14

Just adding this set of tweets too about a Daviana. Who started posting videos about how he knew he was a man etc. He was considered to be 'one of the reasonable ones' because of that.

Of course, as he has made more videos more has come out about what and how he really thinks. Including his behaviour towards his ex-wife...

These men are chilling once you see what they really think.

The gloating from this man as he also envisions negative impacts on female people because they rejected his demands seems to be highlighting just how common that reaction is from men who don’t get what they want from women.

Billings and Daviana are just two men who are showing women who they really are. It seems some men really cannot help themselves in showing that these demands are also part of the power dynamic.

It makes those ‘you got what you deserved after you rejected me’ behaviours all so familiar.

Amazing news, and an absolute WIN for women. By the power of our collective NO and social pressure, Daviana aka David Memont has agreed to stay out of women’s spaces. He still owes women an apology for ever disrespecting our boundaries. And he acts l...

This is Wu very clearly describing how he is entitled to be considered as being a woman because he did ‘enough’. This is an inherently misogynistic position.

https://x.com/kdansky/status/2069757389062947036?s=46

This is also a man who quickly resorts to calling people freaks, ugly, degenerates and child abusers if they point out that there is no accurate diagnosis for which children to medicalise and so this then means that life limiting errors can be made so best to leave medicalisation until the person is an adult. This is not the behaviour of a moderate person.

How is this man different now without a penis to when he had a penis but still declared that he was a woman?

More from Wu.

x.com/briannawu/status/2008479569276178874?s=46

“Here’s the thing with women’s bathrooms. When I transitioned 20 years ago, no one felt entitled to go in with a full beard. No one was scrawling, “a trans woman peed here,” on the walls. We understood that we needed to do the work to pass and not make women feel unsafe.

Progressive politics have destroyed the sense that trans women need to be discrete. If you are not on a medical pathway, and you have not done the basic work to blend, you are not ready to use the ladies.

And frankly, if you don’t understand why it’s important to not make women feel unsafe - you have not transitioned enough mentally and processed male privilege.

But here’s the opposite problem. The gender critical extremists are trying to say no trans woman should be in the ladies room. And that’s just as hateful and disruptive.

It’s obvious if you think about it, but men get weird if they are attracted to trans women. They sometimes get very aggressive and violent. Acting like none of us ever make more sense in the ladies room is just silly. The policy TERFs want will get us beaten and raped.

And frankly, I don’t want to out myself causing a spectacle every single time I need to pee. There is ample discrimination against trans women, and all this would do is ruin my life

Both sides need some common sense here. Trans people need to start policing our own communities, and the moral panic about trans women needs to be in proportion to the actual issue.

As it is, the discussion is creepily reminiscent of the “whites only” bathrooms of the Jim Crow South. As if it’s so unbelievably offensive to pee next to someone that looks like me.”

https://x.com/briannawu/status/1983490924702245333?s=46

“Used the bathroom in Florida yesterday (crime). Some super pretty Latina women were tweaking their makeup at the mirror and one stops me to go, “I hope I can say, you are gorgeous!” And I responded that I was just thinking about how gorgeous they were.

And so I stopped and chatted a few minutes. I shared some setting spray and learned a lipstick layering trick.

I think it’s really silly to say trans women are a threat to women and should use the men’s.”

Then in that same thread is this:

https://x.com/briannawu/status/1983527581946355762?s=46

“It’s not reasonable to take away my access to society based on this. Some Black people commit rape. That didn’t justify segregation in the a South, a policy justified in the name of protecting white women.”

And then

x.com/briannawu/status/1983538960547696992?s=46

“There are some valid policy complaints. But directionally, the is a project about hate. The dehumanization literally eclipses the issues at hand.

We are suffering exponentially more. A beautiful college girl just committed suicide from this hate mob.”

This is a man who ignores female people’s needs and boundaries.

It is not a ‘moderate’ position to ignore female people’s needs and boundaries by saying that it should be ok if someone ignore those in a way that didn’t bring attention to them doing so.

Or is this the position that is considered as moderate and acceptable now? The ‘you didn’t know so you were not harmed’ type of dismissal of lack of consent.

Helleofabore · 30/08/2026 10:07

Maybe this collection of short videos highlight the issues. This first one shows the emotional manipulation of those male people who use the ‘but I have made so much effort’ axis of bypassing consent.

https://x.com/KnownHeretic/status/2006188958586380420?s=20

here are some others that I thought were appropriate on the thread

'isn't it just kind?' - about linguistic disruptions and a particularly a good point about children

here she uses someone's video as an example

https://x.com/KnownHeretic/status/2016359954098364468?s=20

and here is the one that talks about bypassing consent in more clarity

https://x.com/KnownHeretic/status/2002449600146530366?s=20

This one is a vid about people not knowing their sex if they have not been 'tested'.

https://x.com/KnownHeretic/status/2016357787752923290?s=20

So much effort to 'bypass consent'.

Amy E. Sousa, MA Depth Psychology (@KnownHeretic) on X

Regardless: The only tool you really need to combat any trans argument is to say, “regardless of X, it still doesn’t justify bypassing women and girls’ consent.”

Maybe I'm womaning incorrectly but no women has ever offered me hair spray and lipstick tips in the bog

though as wu is 6ft 4 and doesn't pass definite extensive surgery I imagine the poor bloody woman was doing the nervous smile thing and hoping he'd go away soon

or the 'woman' he encountered was a man as well.

Helleofabore · 30/08/2026 10:46

There was a man who carried a spare hair tie on his wrist for when women and girls needed one when in the toilets or change rooms. Ever so helpful. Like the ones who say they carry tampons.

It is a boundary issue.

AimsAndObjectives · 30/08/2026 10:52

With few exceptions, men like Wu stood by or even joined in while the TRAs ran amok. They could not believe their luck that they were about to be given access to every resource set aside for women. They could not believe their luck that every confused child could now be directed onto the medicalisation and surgery pipeline. They could not believe their luck that whole political parties and Presidents and institutions supported them, and that the women who objected were being shamed and cancelled.
It is only when women finally appeared to be making a successful fightback that they suddenly changed their tune and said 'oh no, we never wanted any of that. We are the lovely trutrans and all we ever wanted was to pee in peace'.
Too late, sonny. We see you now. We see all of you now.

Why are they buying tampons in the first place? Is it just to offer them to women in women’s toilets? Strange behaviour!

Which of these do you agree with OP- fully, partly or not at all.

1 Yes, most children are being overmedicalized. But rare true trans children deserve help or they psychologically shatter

2 a) No, trans women do not belong in professional sports.
b) But it’s hateful to call them men.

3 Trans women are not automatically women. But with hard work and medical intervention, most of us can have fulfilling lives where people perceive us as women.

6 You have to do the work to be percieved as a woman. Far left politics cannot do this work for you.

Knowing Wu’s position from twitter history, shall we have a discussion about these points and what you, personally, consider is something to agree with and what are are not ?

And I think that point 2 is very importantly two distinct points.

Some male people had this perception that women asked each other for tampons and wanted to be ‘helpful’ … maybe? There are many reasons why.

Imagine also thinking that a male person who is acting unobtrusive yet is very plainly male is not going to be raising alarm in some, if not many, female people!

It is another example of male people telling us they know nothing about us while demanding that they are us.

TheKeatingFive · 30/08/2026 11:02

It’s Brianna Lu.

What I came to understand about Lu is that his so called ‘moderate’ position is really all about giving him exactly what he wants. He will throw anyone under the bus (women, trans identifying men) to do that. That’s the main sense in which he’s ‘moderate’

He’s not your average TRA but he still thinks people like him (who have had a lot of surgery) should have access to women’s spaces. And that’s a big fat no from me.

Women’s spaces are not a reward for men who have ‘put in the work’ 🙄

I’d say my current views are as follows:

  1. Agree - in the sense of children who have these feelings need therapy and support not life changing procedures
  2. Agree - trans women should not be in female sports, also agree that it is unkind to call them men (I am aware i’ll get dogpiled around ‘being kind is the way things go to shit’ but that’s how I feel).
  3. Agree - self ID is a dangerous thing that leads to genuine predators etc having access to areas that can cause harm to others (including genuine trans people!).
  4. Agree to an extent - no woman wants to see a penis in a changing area and anyone, not just trans people, should respect that
  5. Kind of agree - I don’t really understand non binary and feel it’s a bad of a fad but I agree the solution to that isn’t trans healthcare
  6. Slightly disagree - I don’t think being trans should be measured as “oh you’ve had surgery so you’re allowed” but equally I think a person who is very clearly still a man but dresses as a woman etc can be very unnerving for some people.

And they're all the same. They all use the same argument. They throw their fellow TIMS under the bus, if it means they get a special lady ticket.

If they've had surgery, or if they've got a GRC, or if they transitioned ages ago, or if they pass.

They all decide that their criteria is the only one.

And none of them come up with any means of verifying any of it. Not that it would matter.

But even at purely face value, do you see the emotionally manipulative aspects to it and how most of it is not actually a position that should be considered as moderate when you analyse it with the perspective of safeguarding female people and children?
