Linehan tweeting misogyny and racism now

Seems to have completed his lurch to the far-right - in addition to his vocal support of Trump, I suppose his 'defender of women and girls' schtick doesn't really wash any more...

Nope. It is a product of their deranged fevered imagination and taking everything out of context.

Seems like it 🫠

Can anyone clarify exactly what Graham did that has given rise to the idea that he's anti votes for women?

Retweeted someone saying that the 19th amendment in the US should be repealed. But there are still people who are way too caught up in this trans business and are tying themselves up like pretzels to justify it instead of acknowledging that Linehan is using GC opinions as a wedge issue to promote far-right views, à la Kelly-Jay Keen.

Look at the rest of the tweets made by the original author; he's clearly a virulent misogynist. No he's not being 'ironic' or 'exaggerating' - and even if he were, what is he exaggerating? Using strong misogyny to mitigate his light misogyny? Sorry, that doesn't wash. So why is Linehan retweeting it? And try not to answer with some five-dimensional chess move he's apparently making; agree with his GC views or not, he clearly has a problem with women, and has done for years.

He's been back to harassing JKR for not being deferential enough to him in the last few days ffs.

Given a choice between voting for someone who locks female prisoners up with men, or voting for someone who will scrap gender pay gap reporting, I'll vote for the president who will protect female prisoners. I'd have expected the proper old-school Left to agree with me on this. Gender pay gaps address problems faced by women who are privileged enough to have a job (a.k.a. the ever-demonised "middle-class white feminists"). Rehousing men into the male estate where they belong protects some of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged people within society.

Gender identity cultists will justify anything, no matter how much it hurts a group of women who are more likely to have been DV victims and more likely to have been brought up in poverty than every other group of women out there.

The vast majority, over 90% of women with jobs are working class women, not mîddle class women.

I can’t believe you’d prioritise the few hundred women who have committed horrible violent crimes having a 1 in 1,000 chance of a TW housed in a different wing of the same prison (TW aren’t ever in the general population or same wing as female prisoners incidents that have happened have been due to mismanagement by prison staff), over millions of hard working, law abiding women who just want fair pay to support their families.

It shows you lack critical thinking skills because you’ve sided with whichever scenario does very little harm to the fewest women instead of the scenario that does the most harm to most women.

He retweeted a satirical tweet the called for the repeal of the 19th Amendment, which is what gives women the constitutional right to vote.

Even if it wasn't satire, retweets aren't necessarily endorsements.

Whenever women complain about work-related issues like, e.g. the glass ceiling, Leftists accuse us of "white feminism" and only caring about the middle classes. I was referencing that when I wrote 'ever-demonised "middle-class white feminists"'. Yet when I prioritise female prisoners, who are disproportionately likely to be victims of DV, child abuse, childhood poverty, and even brain injury, I get jumped on for that! It's as though Leftist misogynists don't actually care about supporting any women and just want all women to shut up.

You talk shite with your a few hundred women who have committed horrible violent crimes. Most women are sent prison for less than six months. The most common offence women are jailed for is shoplifting, a crime of poverty. Far from being kept in separate wings, trans-identified men were kept in female general population until about five minutes ago. That's how Karen White was able to sexually assault at least two female inmates whilst at New Hall.

It shows that you lack critical thinking, the ability to fact-check, and any kind of empathy that you a) victim-blame female prisoners locked up with intact male sex offenders, and b) think that gender pay gaps actually achieve anything. Has any company actually changed how much it pays women or preferentially hired women into higher-paid jobs because of pay gap reporting? (Pro-tip: in the UK, the answer is "no" because in the Equality Act makes it illegal to do that. Other jurisdictions may vary.)

I seem to remember, after that retweet, someone pointed out the bit about the 19th amendment and told him what the 19th amendment actually was. It's my recollection that GL said he'd retweeted it without reading it completely or knowing what the 19th was. Which, given how much he retweets, I wouldn't disbelieve.

Presumably, because she doesn’t want to, and because she wanted to discuss it on a feminism forum.

Presumably, because she doesn’t want to, and because she wanted to discuss it on a feminism forum.

Then I can only assume she isn’t actually interested in his motives for retweeting the statements that she cites, despite asking why he did so,

She doesn’t want to “discuss” it, she just wants to use the tweets of a hot headed individual to smear by association.

She seems to hold women here responsible for what Graham Linehan does online, and to use his actions to “prove” something to herself about the character and integrity of every woman who do not want males in female spaces. Thus she can avoid thinking too hard about anything of substance.

She certainly isn’t interested in discussing anything, just mudslinging and finger pointing.

Meh. I see it more as a masterclass in exposure.

'Just watch how they desperately defend the indefensible to prove there's much more to this caper than women's rights'.

Mission accomplished.

Of course JKR is too clever to expose herself so cheaply hence her distance.

Any criticisms of Glinner on this forum are not about holding women responsible for what he tweets, but the fact the forum openly supports someone as questionable as he is. Maybe it’s something to do with threads like this:
https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/womens_rights/5332074-our-graham-looking-for-some-support-for-his-court-case-on-monday?utm_campaign=thread&utm_medium=app_share

And this, about Glinner’s endorsement of the killing of a woman by ICE (this thread ran to 1000, with much the same defenders and themes as this one):

And this thread, complete with many posts from Glinner himself helpfully adding his donation details:

To top it off, in the last day or so he declared just how much he bloody admires Stephen Miller. Miller doesn’t believe in the wage gap, FYI.

Careless, on his part.

He appears to be frequently careless, then. He retweeted a ‘Men’s Health’ magazine cover with Eliot Page on it a few days ago and added a few lines attacking the way Page appeared. However, it was a fake, and an obvious one at that. He hasn’t deleted it nor apologised as far as I can tell.

Yep. Well, that and all the other stuff he posted about Renée Good, complaining about Will Sharpe being cast in Mozart, etc.

Linehan doesn't give a damn about women, he's a grifter allied with racists who likes posting graphic nudes of people he says are trans kids. That is not normal behaviour.

Igneococcus · 19/07/2026 06:57

In a week when "Heather" and his polycule are all over the media for their blatantly violent threats against women it seems weird to focus on GL. I'm sure they are all in support of women as long as women do exactly as they are told and shut up. I mean they are quite obviously not just "careless", they think they are in the right and have been indulged by a gormless society to believe they are untouchable.
Why this focus on GL, why now? Or does the regular "look what an evil bastard he is and you silly biddies just all fell for the rightwing dollars" thread just have happened to coincide with the polycule story this time?

The focus is to expose a high profile figure as a far right trojan horse.

You do that. But however genuine some of its proponents are, the gender critical movement has now largely been exposed as a beard for far right ascension so it won't be long now before the 'what is a woman' gotcha distraction wears thin on those affected by the affordability crisis….& those folks are angry as f*.

Come on, Shed, now that it is blatantly clearly a Trojan horse, the scales will fall off the eyes of us silly, duped women who are incapable of reaching our own conclusions without someone telling us what to think and we will repent and embrace genderism with all our little hearts.

Um, I don't care for him either. The point is the evidence of the far right grift is mounting for all to see.
