Well its important to expose to the 'normies' they are being 'had' by fear mongering headlines. The last thing the far right care about is affordability & they are scapegoating muslim immigrants & trans people to get around that.

And the association is not healthy for the long term survival of the single sex space cause. Even many gender critical devotees acknowledge this because of the inconsistency between a political movement that's anti rights aligned with one who purports not to be. You can't have it both ways & be taken seriously as women's rights movement. And if you attempt to you become suspiciously carrying water for fascism.

Personally, I'm sympathetic to some single sex spaces exemptions being enforced like elite sport, hospitals, prisons, refuges & more evidence for trans youth medicalisation. But where that becomes toxic for me is the necessity to demonise & dehumanise trans people to achieve this. That, sits squarely in far right enabling territory.

The health of the long term survival of single sex provisions is not based on individual personalities of those discussing it or campaigning for it. It is not a campaign that is based on emotional reasoning, quite the opposite. Nor is it a niche issue that only negatively impacts left wing female people.

This claim about guilt by association says more about the accuser than it says about the group be demonised. If you, personally, choose not to support a need that is universal to female people across all political parties because some people from political parties you don’t agree with agree with that need too, that shows a person more concerned about tribalism than the outcome of the campaign.

For an issue that is so wide in scope, there are going to be people from all parties discussing it. Particularly if the campaign is very long term. It was never an issue that only negatively impacted women and girls from one political view point. Feminism is also not about limiting the positive outcomes to only female people of one political viewpoint.

This guilt by association doesn’t even survive a basic logical analysis.

We are getting in our own way because all we need is just experience a stunning and brave man to show us how its all done dahling.

I think we are getting in our own way of winning court cases, employment tribunals, medical reversals, passing protective legislation, and protective sports decisions. If we just moved out of the way, all of this would be happening. Such self-sabotage eh?
