After studying at the very beautiful but very remote University of St Andrews, Chloe spent two years travelling around North America, doing a Master’s degree and really missing Wotsits and Heinz ravioli. This confirmed her suspicions that the UK was “home” after all, so she came back and started a real, grown-up life in London.
She worked at a few different start-ups, helping with everything from customer support to video production (which she was extremely bad at). Being a jack-of-all-trades taught her that actually, writing was the thing that made her days their most enjoyable.
Then, over a few full-time roles at tech companies and in the UK government, she wrote and edited lots of words. She touched emails, website pages, branded content, blogs, social media content, print products, user guides, help docs, and much more.
Now, Chloe focuses on writing for and about women, working with amazing teams at places like Bumble, Elvie, and here on Mumsnet. Her work aims to make women's lives easier by curating game-changing products and essential hacks for busy people.
At Elvie, she writes about innovative breastfeeding and pelvic health products and reports on crucial conversations about postpartum support. With Bumble, Chloe shapes the modern dating conversation through immersive dating guides and writing across the app. Whether she’s demystifying tech innovations or championing love, Chloe’s writing is here to help.
In her spare time, you can find Chloe pleading with the plants in her vegetable garden to grow, attempting overly complicated recipes with said vegetables, and making bread that never rises from her temperamental sourdough starter.
