@Samtsirch that's The Famous Five.

Oh dear, PlomBear!

Miss Peters would've had a conniption fit if you had spelt 'Malory' in that sloppy way when you were a pupil there.

And Miss Grayling would've been deeply disappointed and saddened that you had Let Yourself Down.

Thirza38 Sat 21-Mar-20 15:36:51

Wow that is exciting

NCTDN Sat 21-Mar-20 22:15:43

Ooh will try and watch this

SallyLovesCheese Sat 21-Mar-20 22:25:10

Love Malory Towers! I saw the stage play last year, it was fantastic!

Bit apprehensive it'll be on TV though. The play was just different enough in terms of plot and the sets obviously weren't full-on so my own imaginative version from the books is intact. Do you think watching it on TV will ruin that? I've held it in my head for about 30 years!

barcodescanner Sat 21-Mar-20 23:20:20

Only found out about this and the play earlier today. Reading the books with my daughter and also just found out there are more books than we have. I loved them when I was her age

SallyLovesCheese Sat 21-Mar-20 23:32:22

Yeah, there are six more following Felicity through the rest of her Towers days. By Anne Digby? I did read them, and they're in much the same vein, as you'd expect, and your daughter would enjoy them. But the originals are the best!

RedIsWhereItsAt Sat 21-Mar-20 23:32:23

How long is each episode, does anyone know?

Bercows Sat 21-Mar-20 23:33:42

Dd1 and I watched the trailer today and she's really excited to watch the programme on Monday. Thanks for the heads up!

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor Sat 21-Mar-20 23:34:15
