TV series looks to be for CBBC, set in 40s but "updated", with some "new characters", so probably lots of storylines from the books but adapted.

If I went on Mastermind, the 6 original books would be my specialist subject!

I loved the books. Especially the one where they wrote and put on Cinderella (In the Fifth maybe?).

I presume they'll do it the way they've done The Worst Witch, where each series covers a school year.

Although it's kind of an angry book, what with Saint Catherine and Moira/June and all, I kind of like it for that.

I have spent YEARS wondering why Malory Towers/Famous Five/Secret Seven, etc haven't been made into a star cast tv programme/film!

I'm quite excited by how much lacrosse is mentioned! It's just a shame that with the coronavirus it probably won't get many girls starting to play as it might have done otherwise.

Loved Malory Towers. Was that the one in Cornwall with the outdoor pool? Get confused with it and St Clares.

Really excited about this - I devoured the books when I was younger and re-read the first one last year.

I remember the outdoor pool - it sounded amazing with the saltwater pool cut into the rocks.

Yeah, Malory Towers had the pool.

We begged our PE teacher to play lacrosse but she said it was too dangerous!

I loved these books and now my DD does too. We’re going to watch it together, looks like the whole series will be available 😄
