So it seems the average mumsnetter at the moment...

Breast feeds her kids til they r 10

Gets their tits out in Tesco (it's a woman right, they are just the same as men's breasts aparantly)

Loves and accepts people of all race, ethnicity, age, culture, dress sense, religion etc... but no transgender people(for some reason)

dislikes men and identifies as a feminist

Like to think they are liberal and free and natural and organic

Doesn't judge anybody at all ever (but is actually very judgmental!)

Loves teachers - teachers can do no wrong (to say so is teacher bashing)

Has the exact perfect relationship with their children (encourages independence, no tiger mums here! But never neglectful and always at the ready to call social services for other people's children )

Mmmmmmm Hmm

Oh come on........

The main reason most of us even come here is to be entertained by the Mumsnet nutters that you describe. They're hysterical.......Grin

You seem to be placing a value judgement on what you think of the “typical” MNer without really digging past the first layer.

These threads do get rather weary.

I’m feeding my DD. She is under 2 weeks old, is that alright or do I need a permit?

And at cgristnas, birthdays or anniversary's they always prepare a bloody hamper. Christmas page is full of people squirrel lling away making bloody hampers

KC225 but gets mortally offended if anyone wants to give them a present or card, and god forbid if said person wants to drop it off in person!

According to these pages it's moving heaven and high water to visit/have visitors, especially if the are family - who you must never do anything to help out, or ask to help you.

Breast feeds her kids til they r 10
no kids! Blush
Gets their tits out in Tesco (it's a woman right, they are just the same as men's breasts aparantly)
.... I wouldn't inflict that upon the world

Loves and accepts people of all race, ethnicity, age, culture, dress sense, religion etc... but no transgender people(for some reason)
I'm a bit of a hippy, so yeah. I include transgender folks though

dislikes men and identifies as a feminist
I am in between a radical and Liberal feminist. I don't dislike men. Wary of them, maybe.

Like to think they are liberal and free and natural and organic
Guilty, as much as I can

Doesn't judge anybody at all ever (but is actually very judgmental!)
I try not to judge, though we all have moments of raised eyebrow

Loves teachers - teachers can do no wrong (to say so is teacher bashing)
I work in the education field. We can definitely do wrong though! I dislike needless teacher bashing

Has the exact perfect relationship with their children (encourages independence, no tiger mums here! But never neglectful and always at the ready to call social services for other people's children )
See answer one

Loves teachers - teachers can do no wrong (to say so is teacher bashing)

There are at least a couple of teacher bashing threads a day on active. Teachers are less popular than Teresa May on MN.

Breast feeds her kids til they r 10
= well, about ten minutes. Tongue tied, real battle.

Gets their tits out in Tesco (it's a woman right, they are just the same as men's breasts aparantly)
= only if pissed on Saturdays.

Loves and accepts people of all race, ethnicity, age, culture, dress sense, religion etc... but no transgender people(for some reason)
= love the people I love, race and sex irrespective. Not a fan of anyone who puts themselves above anyone else or are narcissistic.

dislikes men and identifies as a feminist
= as above, loves people for who they are, dislikes twats. Feminist, yes.

Like to think they are liberal and free and natural and organic
= have no illusion that I'm any of these things. Natural perhaps as I am what I am, rarely wear make up, would live in jeans if I could.

Doesn't judge anybody at all ever (but is actually very judgmental!)
= am very Judgey McJudgeface of myself, and even more so hiding behind a keyboard. But then I get a grip before I type and try and see the others' points of view.

Loves teachers - teachers can do no wrong (to say so is teacher bashing)
= see comment above. Feels v v sorry for all they put up with, know some fab ones, and some who should have perhaps chosen a different career path...

Has the exact perfect relationship with their children (encourages independence, no tiger mums here! But never neglectful and always at the ready to call social services for other people's children )
= relationship with DS gets better each day. He's my world. Have been 'neglectful' if that means not providing two veg with every meal, or seeing if a pair of jeans will last one more month...

I dont do very much at all on the OPs list...just one and a half, mebbe one and a quarter

And i only do one thing on neshoma list....although i do recognise more of it

Very disappointing, my mother would be ashamed Sad
