How has Covid affected Janet & Roy in 2020?

Wondering if anyone's doing Janet & Roy this year?
I know it's early but as those if you in England are on lockdown, it could be a good time to get creative.
I certainly could do with cheering up reading all about 2020 in the Janet &Roy household.
I have a few ideas and hope to put a letter together. I'm thinking because alot of us can't get together with friends this year, a Janet & Roy letter might go down well, with light hearted friends.

I can send one from France or Switzerland.

I love Janet and Roy, maybe someone needs to hear about their decision to isolate in a Swiss chalet eating fondue and raclette Grin

'Thankfully Roy's COVID infection was confined to just losing his sense of smell and taste for about four weeks. He did have a rather nasty moment though when naughty Tiddles had an accident while exploring the kitchen work top, which looked exactly like a Belgian Chocolate Seashell.'

I love Janet & Roy
They would definitely have a tale to tell of how they chose their bubble along with the ongoing saga of the cancelled holiday and refund claim

Janet tried her hand at making a sourdough starter and found that it was excellent for making banana bread but of course no bananas came on the online shop (Janet and Roy are almost digital natives now ever since Roy did a Silver Surfer computer class at the community centre). Not to fear though, ever the resourceful one Janet managed to substitute the bananas for a few ounces of the banana liqueur they picked up in port during their last cruise.

Oh I love this! I can't wait to hear about what they've been up to. Do you think they've stuck to the rules??

Ohhhh I love reading the J&R threads each year and has completely forgotten about them til I just saw this!
@KindergartenKop heehee love the insinuations you could make with Keith, a very close friend they have bubbled up with Grin

Oh undoubtedly, except of course for Thursday bridge night because Boris Johnson couldn't have intended for them to cancel it. Its only them and four of their closest friends, barely anyone at all really.

I love Janet & Roy, I'm so relieved even COVID hasn't stopped them and their shenanigans!

Love J&R adventures.
A friend sent a gushingly grim circular with her Christmas card (pic of baby dressed up obvs) & has joined an mlm whilst on furlough this year so the 2020 version ought to be fun

Please can someone link me to one of the original threads? I got one done for my parents about five years ago, and overhearing them tell a friend about the "mystery round robin"as we all stood at the tombola at the PTA Christmas Fair, is up there with the funniest incidents in my life to date
