How has Covid affected Janet & Roy in 2020?

Wondering if anyone's doing Janet & Roy this year?
I know it's early but as those if you in England are on lockdown, it could be a good time to get creative.
I certainly could do with cheering up reading all about 2020 in the Janet &Roy household.
I have a few ideas and hope to put a letter together. I'm thinking because alot of us can't get together with friends this year, a Janet & Roy letter might go down well, with light hearted friends.

I'm in Turkey. Happy to send from here but it needs to be soon (postal service is CRAP!) Grin

@Lelophants basically it’s a Christmas round robin sent to someone you know (often parents) from a couple named Janet & Roy.

I think it started off as mumsnetters sending them to their own parents to cause confusion as they try to work out who Janet and Roy are.

Now people have swapped parents so that the post mark comes from elsewhere.

People then post their letters on here so everyone gets a giggle.

It’s basically a piss take of round robin letters with a wind up for parents / friends relatives thrown in!

Ok so looking for more ideas. So far I have the following paragraphs as well as the one above about the chocolate seashell. If you can improve what I have written please let me know and look forward to some more ideas from other people:

I came down with Covid in March. One of the first to get it although thankfully, the Daily Mail didn’t call me a Super Spreader although I am known as being rather good at the Warrior pose in the village yoga class which has still taken place – well, there’s only the 10 of us after all.

Roy’s become quite adept at making sourdough in lockdown after our neighbour, Brian, gave him some sourdough starter. Brian had a very dicky tummy last year after a trip to Tunisia and underwent weekly checks by the doctor. Luckily, he had some spare stool specimen pots which were the ideal size for passing on some offspring from his ‘Fred Farter the Bread Starter’ to Roy. Let’s hope they were unused!
