How has Covid affected Janet & Roy in 2020?

Wondering if anyone's doing Janet & Roy this year?
I know it's early but as those if you in England are on lockdown, it could be a good time to get creative.
I certainly could do with cheering up reading all about 2020 in the Janet &Roy household.
I have a few ideas and hope to put a letter together. I'm thinking because alot of us can't get together with friends this year, a Janet & Roy letter might go down well, with light hearted friends.

I'm happy to send but I can't receive. My parents have actual friends called Janet and Roy and it caused massive confusion and consternation so much to the point that I still haven't confessed because it got so out of hand. They've also just moved and haven't been anywhere since moving so couldn't have let J&R know their new address.

"Janet once again has done her bit for local charities this year despite Covid and lockdown. Janet was photographed completely in the nude (witj the exception of her hand crafted face mask of course) at local popular spots around the village, all in the name of another charity calendar, this year supporting The Road Kill Animal Hospital. Unfortunately we have been unable to enclose a signed copy for you as they sold out in an instant. Janet really has become the "Road Kill Poster girl"!!

This has cheered me RIGHT up! I sent a Janet and Roy to my grandparents a few years ago, they were searching feverishly through their Filofax/Rotary contact list trying to ID them! Then it went a step further; when they got back from Waitrose I told them Janet had called to say hello and their faces were

I miss the Janet and around we used to get from Greece. It wasn’t for us but came to us. The road outside was called Oak avenue and we were 54 Oak Drive. It was addressed to 54 Oak Avenue but there was no number 54 on that street and I didn’t know any residents by name. It used to come to us every year.

Maybe a letter from Pat and Bob instead? Pat has had a terrible reaction to wearing a facemask, the Zoom Doctor suggested it was an allergic reaction, and Bob is struggling with his bunion.

That floosie across the road, (number 6, you remember, the one who answers the doorbell in her night attire) has had lots of male visitors during lockdown. We've reported them to Joshua our lovely PCSO, but so far he's not been able to catch her in flagrante.

We've bubbled with Pat and Bob, and Sue and Ken, and the lovely Keith. It's such a shame about his affliction, but he soldiers on and never complains.
