This year is flying past!
Did a nice sacral chakra practice with YWA this morning and will do a couple of hours Hatha later as well.

An hour of power plus a couple of 10min Sun A/Bs dotted in day as Stealth Yoga lol. A good way of grounding.

A gentle shoulder practice with Yogini Melbourne. Still tired so thought it best to listen and go softly. Might do yin tomorrow.

30 min morning yoga as we were all up early. Doing a yoga for osteoporosis video of Marnie’s later. I love how her seemingly subtle practice actually gives a big oomph.

YWA energising morning flow to start the day. Will try to do some bedtime yoga too, sun A/Bs probably, I really like how meditative they can become.

Yesterday was Yogini Melbourne morning flow, luckily as after that the rest of the day I was ill so couldn’t do any more.

Today I did a brilliant hour long kundalini practice, felt so much better after.

Hello Poisonwood, I must try some of these other yoga practices you find. Are they on some kind of app or is it all YouTube?
I have cancelled the Sarah Beth app so have until the end of the month for that. Ironically after getting a bit bored of the same old with her I have enjoyed some of this month's calendar with lots of balancing poses. I'm still rubbish at tree but I enjoy trying, and I think it's great as someone in their 50s to challenge themselves with some balancing.
After the subscription ends I will be back to having to decide what to do each day, which means I will faff!

Poisonwood · 20/09/2025 10:55

@Jumbojem Brett Larkin has a lot of kundalini on YouTube, I like the juxtaposition of energetic movement and stillness, the stillness feels SO good after the work. YoginiMelbourne and Arianna Elizabeth have a lot on YouTube too.

The only person I do very regularly who isn’t on there is Marnie Castor, and she’s that good I will continue with my YWA subscription just for her, let alone everything else,

Today I did a brilliant foot to crown practice with Marnie as part of her bone health series…such subtle movement but oh my word afterwards you feel better. Lots of small balances too…so important as we age.

Late night equinox practice tonight, live on zoom. I’m going to do it by the fire which will be cosy…but I hope it’s not too energetic as it’ll be midnight 😂

Thanks @Poisonwood I will check some of those out. I did a running event today a d was so stiff in my hips when I got home. I did a Yoga with Kassandra post run practice which has done the world of good. Although cow legs was very painful and difficult. Hoping to do a decent long practice tomorrow for recovery.

Poisonwood · 28/09/2025 17:45

@Jumbojem i hope the weather was good for your event? We had torrential rain yesterday but today’s been the nicest day of September!

I’m trying to practice Yoga Nidra but fall asleep each time 😂
