Well February seemed to fly by. Maybe by the end of March we’ll be doing some outdoors yoga 🪴 🧘‍♂️.
Today I’m splitting yoga up morning and afternoon, did Charlie Follow’s Improver and Sarah Beth Level 2 yogalates this morning, will do a half primary David Swenson practice later.

@Yogachick that sounds very possible! Could you make your yoga time more special for a little while with new plants/or nice smelling candles/salt lamp/peaceful positive picture on the wall by your mat, something like that? Little things I know, but they may help in a little way whilst you are processing the big stuff.

2.5hrs classes today…first hour’s ‘gentle flow’ is a good warm up for Ashtanga.

There was a yoga teacher in the class tonight doing her own private practice…I was the only person in the class tonight who volunteered to give wheel and forearm balance a try…and this yoga teacher said after the wheel “that was amazing” 🤩.
I know, ego, but I appreciated it because I never work near mirrors etc and have no idea usually at whether my alignment is okay…sometimes, because of this, I go down a rabbit hole of second and third and fourth guessing it rather than being just the yoga. Also, I’m the oldest one in that class by at least fifteen years so I’m doing okay 💪

2 hours, one CF and one SB power. It’s nice to be able to hop on the mat at 7am on a Saturday, completely different feel to later in the day.

30min CF, 30 min meditation. Bought a cotton yoga mat, recommended by my teacher, from Yoga Matters, that goes over your usual mat and is really easy to wash and dry. Her yoga mat has lasted her telwelve years because of doing this, and you can also use it as a travel mat too on its own.

Wheel sounds amazing @Poisonwood , I used to just pop into them, such a lovely chest opener💛
Avoiding, but back to the mat for today’s 30 min Slow Burn from the calendar. Really enjoyed this, longer holds are intense but got the breath to really ground. Very calming🌻

@Yogachick that actually sounds just what I need, I’ll do it tomorrow.

10 min SB for burnout, stress & anxiety, and 30 min meditation.
