Well done @OopNorfDahnSarf I am still behind but finally managed Day 5 today, which was lovely with a nice flow. I am really enjoying this one, just struggling to make the time but really do need to prioritise it.

Hope everyone is coping with the heat. @Sooverthemill sunstroke is horrible!

I don't think I will have time tomorrow but will do on Friday so will check in then.

Sooverthemill · 14/07/2022 08:02

Day 15 is so good! Probably not active enough for the likes of @shannith but loved it
when she says let your mind go where it pleases mine goes to breakfast!

I’ve been terrible at updating - sorry.

I did most of true and while I liked it I prefer move for the strength and balance aspects. I found True hood for stretching and mobility but Move keeps me onmy toes more. And let’s be brutally honest - had a bigger effect on how I look. 😂 So I’m back on Move - day 2 (I’m so out of sync - sorry) and it’s nice to come back to it after a while off.

Sooverthemill · 15/07/2022 08:29

I said day 15 yesterday but it was day 14! Today day 15 was also very nice
@Shannith yes I totally get that, this is much more stretch and flex I think than Move. Still love them both

@Sooverthemill I did enjoy true and it's what I'd recommend to people doing a first ever 30 days. Day 3 on Move again and it's not a east intro to the beauties of daily yoga Smile

BestIsWest · 15/07/2022 10:01

I agree, I wish I’d started with True as I’m learning much more about technique. I think I’ll go back to Move next month to see if there is any improvement. Day 13 done yesterday.

Sooverthemill · 16/07/2022 08:11

I did half of day 16 today ( it’s long) and the stretches were fab. I know what you mean, it’s slow and mindfull I think. Happy to go back to move or any one really just the thread itself motivates me

I wasn’t keen on 14 and felt I needed more so did a few extra things instead.

Shinyandnew2022 · 16/07/2022 15:13

Hello all I am still here just been hectic and not consistent at hitting the mat or posting! Missed a few days and keep flitting between True and Move. I am enjoying the True sessions but find the durations a bit harder to fit in so sometimes pick based on that.
Done True 6 and 7 the last two days - definitely challenged me !
As others have said True does give you some technique eureka moments .
Still love reading everyone's comments and progress

OopNorfDahnSarf · 17/07/2022 09:14

Day 2 of True. I am enjoying the slow pace. It might be a gentler introduction to yoga. But equally I enjoyed the faster pace of Move because I wanted to get my body moving. I am already looking forward to January to see what she comes out with.
Today she showed a gentler way of doing pigeon which suits me as my hips are very tight.
Keep coming back to the mat!

BestIsWest · 17/07/2022 11:39

True day 15. This was a really nice leg stretchy one and quite short compared to most of True

Sooverthemill · 17/07/2022 18:34

Day 17 was pretty good.

I didn’t really do much today, did my osteopath prescribed exercises and a few forearm planks and down dog plus cat cow. It’s a little warm!

Day 3 of True. Stretch. It is lovely and cosy. I am getting "yoga toes". So silly and yet so exciting.

BestIsWest · 18/07/2022 17:43

Just did day 16. Oof. 41 minutes.

guinnessguzzler · 19/07/2022 07:49

Yes, very warm here but managed to get some yoga in although not a full session as I was too hot. Hope everyone else is coping ok with this heat.

Sooverthemill · 19/07/2022 12:21

Copped out today. Just too hot. Apologies did letting the side down!

Cooling down here in the west so I’ve just done a Pilates shoulder and arm one for a change. Having a bit of an issue with my hip - I’m not sure Warrior helps it. It was a nice change but I feel my arms will ache tomorrow.

BestIsWest · 19/07/2022 15:29

These are the Pilates ones - I might try a few alongside Adriene.

OopNorfDahnSarf · 20/07/2022 08:41

Morning all. Day 4 of True. Floor. Lots of long slow stretches. Our heatwave broke last night with a thunderstorm and we are back to normal summer weather. Phew.

Sooverthemill · 20/07/2022 10:10

We have just had big rain. But now it is utterly boiling again. Just made our bed. Am now in a puddle of sweat. No yoga just osteopath exercises

OP posts:
BestIsWest · 21/07/2022 21:05

I did another of the Pilates ones. I feel as if I’m being unfaithful to Adriene but really need to give my hip a few days rest.

Rummikub · 21/07/2022 22:36

Hello all
i haven’t managed any yoga for days as I’ve had covid
Its bloody awful! I’m only just beginning to feel human again and will read for motivation when I’m well.

OopNorfDahnSarf · 23/07/2022 09:22

Day 5 of True - High. Lots of work on breathing and blood flow.

I think I might have got the hang of Cobra. Hold the elbows close to the body and push against the palms of your hands to give you the strength to rise up. Sounds obvious and easy but now I get it. 🐍
