Right so, I am starting this today.

I love Candace's you tube videos and have been doing them for a couple of years. I've lost my way a bit recently, haven't done any since the start of the school holidays and have been eating far too many icecreams. I'm hoping this might be a good kick start. I feel so much better when I practise regularly.

Anyone else fancy it?

Day 25 yoga completed, very slow and basically all hip opening poses, 30 minutes in total.

Anyone still with me? Grin

I had a rest day today my stomach muscles are killing me! That day two was mean. Going to try to do week two in the correct order starting tomorrow. Loving the sound of day 25 I used to be really good at hip opening poses so be good to see where I am by then.

Day 26 yin yoga, 20 minutes, very slow and very relaxing. Really enjoyable. I always think that I haven't got time for yin yoga and chose something faster paced. I'm making time for this from now on.

How's it going Lyra?

Day 27 HIIT completed. Basically tons of burpees that made me a sweaty red mess. I did 15 minutes yoga afterwards.

Did day two day one yesterday and went back to the thirty minutes powerflow (day one today) as I love it then did the burpee pyramid which is just horrendous but I like in a sick sort of way. Well done on day 27 just has a look at that how have you found the AMRAP sequences? My stomach is flat again already and the handstand was easy leash still using the wall though

LyraMortalia · 21/09/2016 20:46

Week two half done now are you finished TinyToes? How did your crow progress?

TwentyTinyToes · 21/09/2016 22:05

Well done on half way through week 2. I had a rest day and then just two more days to go.

I have just forced my way through the AMRAP sequences modifying as necessary (heavily modifying sometimes!) I don't have much upper body strength so some parts I really, really struggled with! But I have noticed a massive improvement overall and I love the HIIT for a quick, effective blast on a busy weekday.

My crow and baby grasshopper have really improved. Baby grasshopper I can comfortably hold for a few breaths each side. Crow is more fleeting but there is a certain lightness when I'm in it, just doesn't last long Grin

I haven't done the AMRAP yet I need to get some sort of timer

TwentyTinyToes · 22/09/2016 17:23

I just use the timer on my phone. Just did day 29, 10 minutes of burpees and plank (supposed to be handstand hold but that was never going to happen)

I would like to do some yoga but I'm so pushed for time I might have to make do with 10 minutes before bed.

I wimped out today Sad

LyraMortalia · 23/09/2016 16:44

Made up for it today yoga warm up burpees pyramid pressup pyramid four minute amrap then fifteen minute yoga wind down boom it's from work one but I'm freestyling the days Wink

TwentyTinyToes · 25/09/2016 13:12

So, day 30 done. Day 30 should have been Friday, I was very busy Friday but in all honesty I could have squeezed it in. Yesterday I felt unwell and we were busy with the children all day, I do have some other stuff going on too. I think there is something in the fact that I didn't miss a day until the last one! Something to think about.

Day 30 was a vinyasa flow for shoulders, lovely and slow. I really enjoyed it.

Completing these 30 days have taught me to be more adventurous in my yoga choices - not always to choose the faster paced classes. Also that i really enjoy HIIT and to incorporate that in to my week. I'm loads stronger too and I'm going to continue to work on grasshopper and crow.

How are you Lyra?

Am two done got the hang of the amrap which was challenging. I would never have opted for Burpee pyramid or hiit but I'm loving them my jump through is great again now (down dog to forward fold) which I'm over the moon about as I haven't done that for two years and two wks ago still couldnt
