Wasn't sure where to put this, so ive put it here for now, as its where I put the Arsenal Premier League win one.

I'm really looking forward to the World Cup, and want an England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 win (although I am of course behind Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿!)

I've got the BBC sport notifications turned on, and will likely watch with the BBC, rather than ITV.

I'll be watching my matches from home alongside my dd and cat, who are both uninterested!

Anyone fancy joining me? Will you stay up for the games of the country youre supporting?

I’m ill and off work today (was planning on being out for birthday drinks tonight, for my best friend in a football showing naice pub). So will have to watch the match at home.

I might try a gin and tonic but just getting over stomach bug so that’ll be a risk to take. But wfh tomorrow and don’t start til 1pm yay! No snacks inside apart from mini Oreos, Quorn picnic eggs and those Itsu veggie and chicken gyoza dumplings with dipping sauce and Ryvita and laughing cow triangles. That’ll probably be dinner. Could do a Whoosh order though.

Uruguay (past WC winners) drew with Cape Verde. Portugal not doing well despite cristiano Ronaldo (boo hoo not!). Can’t take anything for granted these days!

I got put at risk of redundancy today so definitely having some beers while I watch it. I WFH so don't need to worry too much. DS has footy training beforehand so won't be sat with a drink until at least 8.30.

It is annoying. I’ve never forgiven the winking at one of the tournaments by Ronaldo. I know he does a lot for charity and all the rest of it , but I do bear a grudge!
